Another letter addressed to "Brother Ameris Santraeger" arrives at the Temple of Ilmater.

Upon arriving back to the temple after a period of absence, Ameris is seen sharing news with the other clergy, with relief evident on his face.

He is given a number of letters and notes.

Upon receiving the second letter from Selis he reads it thoroughly.

"I look forward to meeting this man and speaking words of praise."

The priest pauses.

"Should I actually be here when he arrives."

He offers an apologetic smile to the other Adorned and goes to pen a reply.

*Some time after Ameris returns to the temple Colwyn approaches him and speaks quietly.*

"I apologize for my recent absence but there were duties that required my immediate attention. I received your message and spent most of the past tenday at the various inns and boarding houses. They should send word of any arrivals, priest. I will continue to monitor them lest the innkeepers conveniently forget to send word."

Ameris would seem quite pleased he'd actually managed to bump into a visitor for once.

"Brother, you are a welcome sight! There's much to do; any time you can spend watching over the temple is welcome. Myself I face a certain duty of faith- and a personal one - which cannot be met by another. I will attend when I can."

Word is sent to the temple via a Radiant Heart messenger that Paladin Jonas Rokranon urgently requests a member of the clergy to come to the Radiant Heart and look into the condition of one Elril, Paladin of Sune. Jonas is said to have requested Sister Merielle or Sister Louise specifically.

Jonas also sends word to Painbringer Colwyn that Sister Merielle is once again visiting from Tethyr.

At a time that could be considered either late or early... Meri returns to the temple. Having caught up with Sister Adolina, Brother Marcus and Sister Louise the day before... Her return to the temple is quiet. She spends the pre-dawn hours in prayer. By the lunch hour, she's re-acquainted herself with the temple that was once home and place of worship. By the time word from Jonas arrives at the temple, the temple kitchen smells delightfully of honey cakes, and stew.

She leaves word for Sister Louise and the others to find her near or around the orphanage, she then makes her way out to see what Jonas had need of.

She's heard murmuring a prayer as she departs the temple.

Ameris returns to the temple, bustling through to the infirmary as soon as he is changed out of his dusty travelling clothes. His eagerness leads him to check medicinal supplies and begin a round of treatment before it even registers to him that the Saint has arrived. When he hears, his smile is evident and, then, a worried frown. He questions the other Adorned worriedly about whether the infirmary was sufficiently clean on her arrival, and if everything had been neat and tidy.

He is of course apologetic as to his own absence from preprations.

Ameris is seen in the temple studiously reading and answering letters, even over the light meal he takes before another shift in the infirmary. He seems troubled, but speaks little of it, indeed when approached he offers a warm smile and speaks of a letter from a Sister which has cheered his heart.

Ameris returns to a full looking temple, with a certain Telia Navra in tow. He is seen approaching Brother Marcus to speak.

Thedran removes the portrait from the interior wall of the temple, taking it back to Mercy's Orphanage.

*The man known simply as "Fox" enters the temple late one evening, looking for the busy priest. Upon entering he glances about and his gaze falls upon Telia, then Thedran and finally Ivan. His eyes quickly dart between the three and his brow furrows. He immediately turns about and beats a hasty retreat, happy to make it to the door alive.*

Endelyon has been seen quite a bit at the temple in the last few days, spending time with both Sparrow and Telia Navra in equal amounts. When Ameris departed the previous evening, the young woman had done so as well, but not before moving into the temple's upper floor to have a somewhat long conversation with Eldarian Al'Maire. Though she refused to speak to anyone on what the two had spoken of, Endelyon's expression on her way down the stairs might betray the conversation had put her in a very good mood.

A parchment with a short prayer is put in place of the missing painting; clearly meant to be a temporary solution. The handwriting is neat.

He wept for the hungry;

Early afternoon a brightly dressed young blonde known as Eleanore stops by the temple to drop of a basket of fresh oatmeal and raisin muffins. She stays for a while, chatting happily with the sisters and offers to help out with some of their chores before departing once more.
