Background: Henrick was born in a port town of Southern Cormyr, as the eldest son of House Webber, a family only recently raised to nobility. House Webber's children were raised alongside the other noble offspring, yet recieved little respect from the older, more prestigious Houses. To young Henrick, this proved to be both a driving force in his knightly training, and a lesson to never confuse nobility with haughtiness. His father also taught him of Helm, and the family's ancestral trade, net-making. Naturally, he spent quite some time fishing in his youth as well.
At the age of twelve, he was squired to Sir Omar Lancaster, son of Old Lord Lancaster of Westgate, who Henrick's grandfather had once saved from drowning. Omar proved to be an honest and forthright Knight, who taught the lad of honor, and virtue, and the meaning of courage. He taught him of Helm too, continuing his father's earlier lessons. Of course these lessons were peppered between a grueling martial training regiment, where young Webber learned the Knightly arts of swordplay, archery, and horsemanship.
Years passed, and he grew from a promising young Squire to a noble Knight in the service of (now) Lord Omar Lancaster. He served in many campaigns, and found a beautiful, shy young woman named Eleanor on a campaign along the Souther coast of the Sea of Fallen Stars. Eleanor was a war refugee, and he was drawn to her resolve, and she to his courage and kindness. They were soon wed as he returned home with more than grim war stories.
Many years later, he was summoned to Court by an elderly Omar Lancaster. No spring chicken himself, Henrick prepared and said his farewells to his wife, children and grandchild. He arrived at the Keep alongside Omar's grandson Sir Bryland and his Squire, young Oliver Smith. Apparently they were also summoned. Omar told them of a rumor he'd heard from one of his trusted mercantile associates living along the Sword Coast. Helm himself had appeared in the defense of an Amnian town named Nashkel, situated in the Northern foothils of the Cloud Peak mountain range. They were to leave the following morning on a pilgrimmage to this Holy Site, as a token of the Lord's piety, and stay until instructed otherwise, serving the Helmites in charge there in any capacity required.
He solemnly returned to his family for one last supper together, then prepared for a new chapter in his life...
Goals: To protect the Holy Site of Helm and make it safe for pilgrims. Later, to protect the victims of criminals and villains on the often lawless Sword Coast by tackling said unsavoury types.
