To Brother Ameris,
To Sister Um, i forget, sorry,
And to big high brother whatsname at the altar all the time:
Hi.
Yesterday was NUTS! Not like normal nuts, more like roasted nuts with salty spice AND sugar spice. That kind of nuts. Anyway, there was this fire thing, I mean a BIG fire thing, south of the city, way south, past the bridge. Anyway, it wasn't a problem with the city, since it was over the river but it was pretty big.
That wasn't the nuts part.
Anyway, it was burning, you see, and burning a lot, but nothing was burning! I mean nothing burnt in the fire (except me, oops). Anyway, it just burned and burned but nothing was burnt! Except for one thing, but that was a different thing than the things that weren't burnt, but I'll get to that.
Anyway, it burned, but nothing was burnt! Except for that one thing, but that was different.
No living thing, but that which never lived while man drew breath burned. Only that beyond death was burned. Rocks! Rocks! Rocks! Tree rocks! Or is it a rock tree? Ask the gods who died in a fire yesterday, one of them did, but only a little bit. I wish he had a name I could remember, but someone else you know would know his name.
The fire lived but it was not the fire that was alive. The life of the fire was many lives and all came together as one life.
Fire is the plague of the wild, and plague burns through the city.
It was HUGE! It was GIGANTIC! It was very polite, but also confused.
Why did it need to burn? It did apologize, though. I think the fire suffers. In its outlandish land that is not our affair, but it suffers in our world, not of its own choice.
I think we need to try to help it.
Tarlu.
PS: Ask Ivan. He hates it, so he needs help, too.
PPS: Mister Grumpy Elf said that he had seen this sort of thing before. Ask him, too, but you may need to get him a teddy cuddly first.

Re: Church of Ilmater RP
A parchment has been left at the table in the temple of Ilmater. When Ameris Santraeger would came across, Sister Adolina is advised to tell him about that note. But everyone else is also free to read
It is parted in three sections which are reports of two different events.
/// The dates of these events where 2015-01-27 for the first, and 2015-01-28 for the second. Idk the Ingame date.
In the first section you read after mentioning of the date:

In the first section you read after mentioning of the date:
The secon section after mentioning the date:At this day I met two woman in the sewers who seem to where attacked by rats. I literally stumbled into these ongoings and was forced to defend myself against these rats.
For us it seemed as these rats where fleeing from somewhere, so we head right into the direction from where these rats came from. After a few waves of ordinary rats, we noticed a strange smell. We followed this smell which was getting more piercing and worse until we found the appearant source of this dusgusting misasma. It wa a huge rat. Nearly as tall as a average Human. After the fight we all felt a bit dazed and sick. Milende Waynn, one of the woman I was accompanied, suddenly felt weak and was in need of a little help. Together we went out of the sewers as fast as possible and also took a sample of the sickened rat.
When reaching the fresh air we felt a little better but Milende was still pale and looked weakly. I suggested to visit the Temple of Ilmater and we arrived there without any noteworthy incidents. The Sister Rachel successfully healed Milende and stored the rat-sample in a magical box.
The Third section:I meet Milende again at the Temple of ilmater. Thanks to Sister Rachel and the help of Ilmater she was fine again. Melinde stated, she went there to talk with brother Ameris about the recent incident, which leads to this report. Together with Brother Ameris, Milende and myself we went down into the sewers again to investigate the source of what happened the prior day. We did not found any evidence to investigate these creatures origin, despite of some speculations. Later that day we went a third time into the sewers together with other members and friends of the temple of Ilmater to study the rat corpse at a safe place where noone is in danger if we open the magical box. Again, we where attacked by rats several times and the rats which attacked us went larger and larger every time. At some of the fallen rats we recognized maggots. While trying to get a sample of these maggots, they just dissappeared. We where able to reproduce this behaviour but we where not able to get a sample for further studys. Before leaving the sewers we where attacked by a gigantic rat. The biggest one we have seen to this point. With huge effort, together we managed to knock out this one too. Examining the dead rats by some of us with more knowledge only exposed some minor facts which should be known to those who where present. It seems like we did not found anything that can explain the origin of these rats. Some decided to burn the remaining corpses and leave the sewers. The Magical box with samples was stored at a safe place.
This notes has been signed by the ilmatari monk Mogrant.8th of Alturiak,
Today I went down into the sewers again. I tried not to arouse to much attention until I met two adventurers. The names where Zarolin and the second want to be called Oak.
Again we where attacked by rats. But this time something was different: There whare also disturbing rat-like humanoid creatures. One of them which encountered me had TWO HEADS! We decided to head out of the sewers but where first attacked again by an enormous rat like the one I mentioned in the previous report. It tried to bite us and maybe eat us, which would be done in one or two bite. When we finally reached the exit we where attacked again. This was the first time if I remember correctly that these rats where sighted in such a proximity to the exits. Lets hope, these rats wont leave the sewers.
I came to the conclusion that my strife through the sewers alone where lightheaded and we all should be carful what we do.
Note for Brother Ameris:
Oak, who is maybe a druid or maintaining any other kind of natural divine connections, he at least told me that would assist us if he is able to help with the curing of the sickness.

*Edward Drath enters the Temple of Illmater once more, and lays out another donation of curative potions to help with the plague, and some healing kits, with a note that says*
"Brother Santraeger, here are some more donations for the plague efforts. Both I, and the entire city of Baldur's Gate are indebted to you, and the church of Illmater as a whole for your efforts. Keep fighting the good fight, and know that I offer my services as an esteemed alchemist, and a physician any time you need it. I wish to help the best I can, if you would allow it. If you wish to leave me a reply on said offer, simply leave a note with the innkeeper at the Elfsong Tavern. Good day.
Signed,
Edward Drath."

Ameris and Telia meet with Layana and Nerys, Skald of the Greyfox. Words are exchanged: news of the south; memories of the past; fresh paths in life.
Layana had asked the tribe to gather healing herbs and healing supplies for Ameris to take away for the sickness. Ameris asked for them to gather or purchase more if they were able, and left coin in this regard.
Talk continued long into the night, with Telia speaking at length with their hosts. The visitors pitched their tent rather than make their journey back.

*after casting a few sendings, Sani goes to the Ilmater Temple.
*once there, she changes her robe for one provided by the Temple, and tries to help with the glut of patients. Sani tends to the patients willingly enough, and seems to be skilled in her efforts. She continues this for many hours seemingly fascinated by the side effects of the plague. Eventually, she makes a remark about being "bored".
During this time, Sani avoids any of the real work of the temple, such has cleaning bandages, cots, or even cleaning her the robe provided her when she is done with it. She even leaves a puddle in the upper lavatory before leaving. Sani does however, turn over a sizable number of patients with what appears to be reasonable effectiveness.
The blood, the pus, and side effects of the plague seem fascinate her during this time more then anything else. Sani fails to take adequate precautions in her curiosity. She does drink a remove disease potion she had brought with her before leaving however.

"Foo."
It was an all-purpose obscenity, nobody else knew just how off-color it could thus be, which amused Tarlu even more.
"Foo."
He looked at the piles of cloth that people with more soft-heartedness than either industry or fortitude left behind from looking after the sick. Needed a second kettle boiling for laundry.
"Foo?"
It would have been nice had anybody told someone of the gigantic pile of meat, at least it was found quickly. It had a strong smell. Good. It would make a strong broth, good to help the sick recover. Good thing he hadn't used that boiling water for laundry.
Onions! Onions! To the cellar! Onions!

There is a commotion late in the evening inside the temple. It would seem that a moon elf identified as Selengil Harkonis killed Luke Darius. Selengil cast his deadly spells swiftly and left the Temple shortly after Luke's body fell to the floor.
If anyone would inquire, they would find out that Brother Marcus was able to bring Luke back to life.

Hidden: show
Sani would enter the temple again, this time with a note book
She mutters to the staff:
I forgot to take notes last time!
Sani then appropriates a Ilmater robe and changes in to it. Appropriating some supplies from the temple Sani setups a place in the corner of the infirmary along with a notebook.
Over the next few hours, Sani would tend to patients who wandered her way. Her efforts would skilled, but somewhat slow. During each patient she would jot down notes in the notebook concerning where the patient thought he/she was infected, the visible signs of infection, and any notable side effects. Again Sani would have little regard for her own personal safety, not even bothering to wear a mask.
Early on Sani would smile brightly to each patient, but as the day goes on Sani would get grouchier. After many hours she would look positively grumpy and tired. At some point she would excuse herself, taking her notebook and leaving a mess behind. Sani would have also avoided any of the real work of the temple, only cleaning her own station between each patient, and doing it purely by tossing dirty items into a pile in the back room without regard.
After making a mess in the lavatory, and changing back into her purple dress, Sani would wander into the Ilmater bunk house, pick the best looking bed, and collapse on it falling asleep shortly later. Sani would have forgotten to take a cure disease potion.

Luke had been resting relatively quietly since the incident. He speaks softly with any guests though all but his most recent memories shattered from the agony of it all. His strength was beginning to return and during the second day he was able to will himself to stand and walk, albeit limited. By the morning light of the third day his bunk is empty with the bed made and borrowed cloth folded neatly, Luke slipping out quietly in the night.

Tarlu had a new work song, a lilting, cheery melody in a waltz meter:
Before murder in the temple,
Life was wash laundry, mop floor.
After murder in the temple,
Life is wash laundry, mop floor.
The hills shake and shoot fire.
Life is wash laundry, mop floor.
The heroes rage at each other.
Life is wash laundry, mop floor.
Life is wash laundry, mop floor.
Let's hope the price of bread doesn't go up.
