Background:

The Conception of Unen
Unen was given birth by the Ilharess of House Faer'Xal. His mixed blood was a result of a Barbaric Human, whom single-handedly raided the House Mansion and slaughtered a half dozen of the House's guard, and the Ilharess' only daughter. This occured while the primary militia of the family was off in the Cavernous depths of the Upper-dark, providing them little protection against the marauder.

The Barbarian fathered a child upon the Ilharess of the House. Not soon later, he would be found dead, at the hands of the same woman whom carried his child.

She had kept the child, whom she would name Unen, for the strength that his father had shown. Nearly destroying an entire house alone, was an impressive feat, and she knew her future son or daughter would become a suitable Guard.

Early Child-Hood
The House was placed into a state of Chaos, now that the Ilharess, had no Daughters. Though she had still left 3 sons, including Unen. The two would often dispute for power, going into mock battles, and planning strategies to disrupt another's effort.

However, they were both locked into one agreement, that Unen was to be often be beaten, spit on, and deceived. Unen had deserved no better, due to his Half-Blood and he was well aware of this.
Despite the unnecessary cruelty, The Ilharess did approve of it, and never sought to ease Unen's pain. Often he would return home from 'Playing' with broken bones, and the House's Cleric would have to heal him of injuries.

When he would seek to defend himself, he would never fully strike his brother's as it would likely result in him receiving a whip to the back.

Pre-Adult Hood
Unen had grown tall, and imposing. Even his brother's had some sense of fear, when they looked upon his stature and broad figure. His mother adopted him as a personal body guard, and had fitted him with fine armor.

He had secretly taken a practice to Magics, though he had not excelled, as he lacked the formal educations that his brother's had been receiving. However, he had made up for this in his talent of sword-play. At times even the House's Weapon-Master was fond of his strength, and Elegant maneuvers.

Despite his effectiveness as a combatant, his mixed blood still placed him as a low station within the House. In these years, the Ilharess, had still not had a new child.

Adult-Hood
Combat had become an extremely common part of Unen's daily life. He was the first and last defense of his House, as his brother's squabbled for power in their fancy outfits.

While they attended feasts, and became fat and more spoiled, Unen would be receiving scars and spilling the blood of the Shevarash Black Archer's. Their skirmishes had become more and more common, and even more successful.

Unen was provided only a small sum of men, as he was still considered of low station, due to his mixed blood. Without the proper man-power to lead, he often had trouble covering the entire watch. Even with more men, he would struggle due to Pure-Drow having no desire to take orders from a Half-Drow.

Due to the nature of his brother's eventually House Faer'Xal would come under siege once more. Resulting in the death of Unen's Brothers.

Despite the turn of events, Unen had slaughtered all of the Shevarash besiegers, cutting through a great number of them, along side his men.

He would come upon his Mother, whom would speak her last time. Her words were insults, and curses upon Unen. Her blame cast onto Unen, for the death of the house. With her last breath of life, she spat blood onto his face.
