I am a descendant from an all but forgotten noble line before a difference in views drove a split between our race driving some underground and some off into the wilds. a few of us managed to stay apart and formed a new faction. My father was Ryll Cathlemet and was leader of this new faction we kept some of civilization and some of the wilderness but were neither concidered part of civilized,wild, moon,or wood elves. so we became sun elfs. we do have a mix of the others tho and can blend happily in to ither faction. My father Ryll was grooming me for leadership of our faction when he felt it was time for me to seek out adventure to further my leadership skills and to gather knowledge of the world around me. who knows i may even reunite the factions while it is not my intentions tho i suppose i could bridge the gaps for those that wish it and not for those that do not.So i start out cautiously but still somewhat excitedly for an adventure that not even i could dream of. Taking the hardships i had suffered in the past to heart and learning from new ones as i go. Making new friends and enemies aswell I have learned comes with the territory.

I was born from an ancient royal line. While I may have noble blood running through my veins I refuse to claim it till I have proven myself worthy of it. I
like to help others when I can and if I can not then point them in the
direction to where they can find the help they need. I have had many set backs along the way many near death experiances and so forth. I have set
myself on the ranger and mage path to better aid others in need and to help care for nature aswell. I also choose solitude over continous company
and go to town only when I need rest and supplies as punishment for accidently killing a woman I was set to mairy with my bow. She had been captured while I was on patrol bringing me some food for an outing we had planned. I tracked the culprits down and commenced to tear through them like I was a wild animal. I had killed all of them but a shaman who had a dagger to her throat so I drew my bow took aim and fired. When I did he moved to the side slicing her throat but not deep enough to kill her but
moved just enough to put her in my arrows path. It just about killed me I reported to her father what had happen although they did not place the blame on me I still blame myself and ran off to the forrest. So I would never harm another fellow being. Now I try to make mends with what
happened by following her path and aiding others in need. I also provide my services to fellow travelers who need some protection from the bandits that roam the woods and those that held the water back goblins and kolbolds sent by a bandit chief that killed my future wife
just so they could move in alittle closer to the roads well traveled and from the vermin that pollute nature with their foul presence and drive my animals into a frenzy forcing me to kill those that I cherrish once again when they attack innocent beings.

For now I will close and maybe one day finnish telling you my story.

Lirimaer Ithil’quessir (lovely one moon elf) was my beloved that was slain by the hands of a goblin kolbold raid at the command of a bandit chief. Her father was the head of our guards and gave out patrol assignments.She had many brothers and sisters who although sadened by her untimely death as all of us were especially me. Not one of her family blammed me as they were told by the high clerics and other mages there was nothing that could be done the cut was to deep for her to survive beings she was still so young. Even having heard that I still say it was my arrow that killed her. So, I ran and ran into the forrest as fare as I could get away from the town. Her father and mother sent many letters pleading for my return for i wasnt to blame her sisters and brothers also pleaded with me for my return to town for it was nolonger safe for a lone elf to be in the forrest. I never returned tho i did send many leters when I could and they finaly agreed to lt me stay out of the town until I found peace with my self and what had happened. They sent supplies when the could afford the guards to send with them. I had eventually made peace with all that transpired. thats when the supplies had stopped I came out of the forrest to discover my town had been distroyed by goblins vermin kolbolds and bandits. Many had been slain in its defence but only a few of her brothers and sisters had been slain the rest I have never found any sign of dead or alive. I so hope that one day I will find the remaining members of her family especialy her father and mother to thank them for their belief in my innocense and their support through out the years. I also aim to avenge her and her brothers and sisters untimely deaths due to the corrupt alliance between all thats foul and evil in this realm. So yougoblins,kolbolds,and bandits better watch out because I AM COMMING FOR YOU!!! For you have been a thorn in my side far to long now and its time you are removed like the bane in my existnce that you are!!!

I have extracted my vengence upon those who attacked our fair city slaughtered our citizens and caused the death of my love. I have come to realise that I was not to blame for my loves death. That it was a sadistical plot hatched from the fates themselves although she was my first love i have come to realize she will not be my last true love. So now im at peace with my inner demmons.
I have also found that my family that once was had escaped thru a magical portal at the urgence of our families head guard. She had opened a portal to a safer place in another relm to keep our family alive and well. She taught me how to track the portals signature and tell if it was close enough to the one she used.I also found out that she only stayed behind so she
might happen across me long enough to give me the true information about my family aswell as teach how to read the portals energies so i might be able to finnish my quest of vengence and join them later. Serenia later disappeared not before talling me that she was my brothers
betrothed and she would relay my fate thus far to the family. I'm also at peace with my loves family and they understand they may never see me again as my journey takes me to places they have never been and to places many have never heard of all in search of a portal closely resembling the one my family used in nature.

I set off to find a portal I could use to reach my family and continue on my path and so I have found one using what Serenia taught me I've finally found one it is of exact nature and power of the one my family used. Now I shall ask my friends if they want to travel with me or if they want to continue without me for my true journey now begins.If they do they are
welcome to do so and if not that is also their choice but that I would say good bye now for I shall never return to this place again by choice and so I step into the portal.Having stepped through a magic portal with a group of friends. He awoke to find himself and his group of friends in another realm a totaly new world. Just after some war and in the middle of a regrouping of sorts. It was a strange mixture of elf,half elf,halfling,avariel warriors and mages.They found out after a retreat call was ordered and they were taken as prisoners until later after having been attack by an onslaught of humans an other races. They stood up and fought beside their elven captors defending what little ground they had
managed to retake.After many had died in battle him and his friends had carried what bodies they could to the resistance head quarters. Where they met up with the heads of the resistance groups. After they told their accounts of what happened they were given different positions in the elven
resistance. All of the group members have since then been granted the highest positions in the resistance in honor of their aid in reclaiming much of the once elven lands quicker than the resistance had calculated and with a much less casualty cost than original predicted. They quickly realised they had powers never before seen in this realm and was able to acquire
more powerful abilities from this world.Later on however after much deliberation they concluded that the portal should be closed for good or a spell cast to limited what was able to make it through the portal.Ultimately the portal was forever closed till they could place such a restriction upon it, forever sealing them in this new world.

So my new journey starts with finding them and reclaiming my ancient bloodline aswell as enjoying the many adventures and new friends that come my way.I have found many relitives now most of which I never knew in person.Many I only vaguely remember hearing their names spoken
once or twice. It seems my blood line is all meant to be in this new
relm.Many are here now and who knows if any shall reach the power it takes to open a portal to get here.for the portal I used is now closed for good. So far as I know I shall be the last to ever come through. Who knows for sure though for none of us are sure how different time passes here. As for that I am sure future or maybe even past Cathlemets will eventually show up here one can hope. Until then I shall keep studying and refineing the magic I feel around me or is it imminateing from me for that im still unsure of as of yet. Ok, now for my new adventures.

I had found my family once again reuniteing with them for a brief time. After which i was on a new adventure and discovered a vortex having been dabbling with the arcane for some time i thought i would study it and findout if it could be used as a short term transport. Having discovered it and studying it for some time i attempted to teleport thru it and wound up here in the sword coast area. Me alone and with no company this time i shall have to start again and apparently having lost some of my arcane knowledge. I have learned first hand that orcs are the heted race here and for good reasons i suspect. I have met a few friendly people and not so friendly but willing to tolerate my ignorance for a short time of this plane or era. Here i have fought with Zaimon Drayvie Roxy Temis and a few others against a range of creatures many of which i havent seen.While i can count the above mentioned as friendly so far I am still not sure how much they can be trusted as of yet Roxy it seems is the most trustworhty but im not so sure of Zaimon or Drayvie although it seems there is something between Roxy and Drayvie. These two Drayvie and Zaimon seem a bit chaotic at times and you never know which side of the coin your going to get.Only time will tell for certain i guess but for now i shall keep my past to myself and see what unfolds.Now temis i believe can be trusted and all seems to be a good lad. I have had a few adventures with temis and roxy never a cross word between us so far and always splits the spoils of our victories evenly so i think they both can be trusted for the most part. Only the gods know for certain though.

i have been traveling these lands for some time now ive heard about luskan and neverwinter which are both the same just different names. while neverwinter seems more noble in itself the people have chosen a not so noble king which has tarnished the crown he wears so i did not stay.
As for luskan i could carless for it or its people while neverwinter is corrupt at the top in my opion and half the nobles there are as well the other half of nobles and majority of the people are not. which cant be said for luskan it is entirely corrupted very few if any of its people are honest and forthright you throw a gold coin in any direction and your almost guaranteed to hit a corrupted soul. having traveled thru neverwinter i stumbled upon a crime by a leader in the group of city watchmen had killed a kid for stealing some fruit one of which offered to pay the vendor for it for the kid the leader said no and killed the kid. well the guard that offered to
pay then in turn killed the leader which in my opinon was wrong in it self it was however justfied. i my self probably would have done the same if i had the chance too i was still to far off to get a good beed on the man. well as i rushed over the other watchmen had jumped on the one the other watch members showed up and broke it up carting the one descent one to jail with only the jaded side of the ones involved and did nothing to stop the kid from being killed. last i heard the watchman arrested escaped and last seen headed south with a bounty on him. if i ever run into him face to face while i dont agree with the how he done it the why was more important an i shall offer my aid to him if he wishes we could travel some together and maybe i will get the whole story in time.

i have reached a city called baulders gate here in the south while i still do not offer my services to their fist order. they seem alot better than neverwinter while most people are accepted here however the orc race is not and for good reasons. it seems that some time before my arrival the orcs robbed the bank here which posses a problem in itself cause the bank hasnt reopened yet forcing travelers to carry or hide their gold when or where they can. that has bolstered the bandits and such in the region
to newer heights. i wonder how much it would cost to start a bank up here or some buisness of sorts.
i stumbled upon some fellow travelers by the names roxanne everquist and drayvie zokry. Now i have traveled with them for awhile and concider them both friends and now both trustworthy companions.
I have learned from roxy (roxanne) that drayvie has gone into hiding due to a bounty hunter in the region. i wonder if it was him i seen in neverwinter. i probably shall never know for sure since he is apparently great at hiding i have my doubts i shall ever see him again. tis a shame to seems like roxy was really fond of him and seems she is abit more down these days since hes left. never the less she is a friend and i shall do my best to keep her spirits up till the return of her lost friend. i shall miss our adventures together we have cleaned out the bandits crazed animals and kolbolds in the area just south of the farm lands. now its just me and roxy left to patrol the area.

i was out patrolling the area with the gnolls waiting for roxy to join me and i ran acroos a guy by the name of temis so i asked if he cared to join roxy an i in our patrols and he did. and for awhile it was us three sweeping the area on a constant basis. then we ran into a guy by the name of zaimon he joined us and i believe someone else did as well and we cleaned out the temple to bhaal of the priest and followers as well as more gnolls. after our patrols in the gnolls infested area we ran into a woman by the name of janine for a short time she joined us aswell she seems like a descent woman and skilled as well if a bit distant at times but trustworthy so far. after awhile we all parted ways some for other hunting grounds some to study magic and my self for breif respit by the waters edge.me an roxy joined up again heading for gnoll hunting. we ran across a fair and
beautiful elven lady by the name of elvaene and i believe zai joined us aswell along with janine for a lizard hunt. where we all hunted the lizards and completed a job for the minning group. we purged the area of many lizards umberhulk and bugbears and beetles.
I am growing more and more fond of my little group of friends here and have traveled with many others some i dont mind traveling with again others i could careless about ever seeing again. may they have safe journeys and blessed winds at their backs when we are apart.
lately on one of my hunts/patrols i have encountered a brother of sorts a fellow ranger by the name of volomirror and a fellow follower of mielikki. is is a very good ranger and skills surpass mine in the forest.he seems to be a good chap and deserving of trust sofar aswell as my friendship. we have been on many adventures together now and i find him worthy of notation. as well as a few other chaps like jael spellblade,anderick goodmane and dante but they will come in a later tale.

i recently went on a giant hunt i believe this one envolved me janine volo invited a chap called jael spellblade and ran into dante which i was on a previous hunt with i believe it was giants as wellso i invited him also and i think it was ither janine or elva or both that was on this huntalong with kichigai me and kichigai go way back to gnoll and lizard hunts. things were going quite well for the longest at first i bet we bested as many as 25 or more. when things went a bit sideways you could say. we all stopped to rest when about 6 or more surrounded us while we was resting. thats when it got abit out of control went from a well oiled machine
to a chaotic group in no time flat. see surprise attacks do have an advantage at times. it almost did this time as well kichi fell in the battle as well as another. we managed to patch their wounds enough to heal properly and all was well again.
i think we all learned quite abit that day especialy about ourselves as well as the the group and giants. to hunt big game you need a large group number 1
and it is always best to hunt with people you know

alternate between attacks using short range weapons get hit a few times fall back and use long range let the fighters go in first use magic
to protect them or aid them in the back only run up an attack to distract them and let the fighters get in unseen attacks. and heal each other when needed

and rest in shifts
number 4
and last but not least dont rush into battle before the mages a cast their spells on you wait for that then run to battle
which will make that
number 5.
oh and makesure you leave notes for friends not in your group so they dont organise a giant hunting party for you because they cant find you.*laughs* sorry roxy.

me an elva were hunting orcs we was doing quite well indeed just us 2 when those blasted orcs got lucky and knocked elva out almost blasted got me but i disappeared on them grabbed elva from under their nose
and ran out heading for town when i ran into zaimon again i asked if he could help he pointed me to candlekeep where his master probaly could said it would cost 500 gold to heal her i said no problem i had it overed i fell behind due to my wounds he grabbed her at my urging and carried her the rest of the wayfor me i stopped just outside of town to heal my wounds and he ran ahead he paid the 500 gold i offered to reemburse him he said nay that he would collect a favor when he needed it. (Remenises on last deal zai made him)gods help me i hope he doesnt want my life essences this time as well i chose not to last time but a favor is a favor and i must repay it in some way. heres to hoping he needs something else instead. maybe this time i wont get forced down a path i dont want (remembers last deal he had to honor) Damned devils forced me down a warlocks path i have yet to finnish that path but am almost done with it then i can leave it alone for good. But i must do whatever i can to aid my fellow companions in times of great need no matter what the cost is. i can only hope the price isnt to high.

I have been on many journeys now with a few people that seem to be around more than others. I have been traveling as of late with roxy volo and guy by the name of besh (which i really cannot stand) i only tolerate him for what little time i can because of roxy for i still only see him as a meatshield and little else. but for roxy's sake i shalll bite my tongue as long as possible.I think he must see me as a threat to him with roxy and he is so condecending twords me because of such. that must be it. little does he know roxy is merely my best friend and shall remain so. and i do not like the way he treats her to say the least. i think she could do alot better than some egotistical oh i take what i want everybody should be in awe of me sad sack of skin an bones. (i really hate this guy) i dont see what roxy see in him apparently. Remind me to knock drayvie up side the hide if i see him again.

ahhh i went to the fields of the dead recently me volo elvaene and a few others. first section was easy enough but the next wasnt so easy it got quite nasty even. i do not recommend going there without a huge group and a few clerics. we managed to get past it tho and came across some trolls man these things are tough. i owe many thanks to elva and volo for getting me out of there think ill stick to hunting other game for now. would loved to have had roxy along too but i couldnt tolerate besh so i left them alone.

we went hunting today into the hills and it was going ok for awhile. then the group sorta fell into chaos and it went down hill from there (wonders) why cant a group stay focused and not run off in all directions causeing problems for the rest if you stick to what works any hunting trip will go smoothly but not as of late nobody listens anymore i know i see it i believe elva does as well and volo too i think. well just before going i told volo and elva some about my past. they still travel with me so i think all is well. which is a good thing cause im growing more fond of elva as of late. just have to keep her away from besh now all i need is him to make wrong comment twords her and i think i will go ballistic so i warned her of him. good news is that volo agrees with me i dont think he likes him neither. i wish roxy would just kick him to the curb so i can say goodbye to bad rubbish. i miss my friend roxy. i miss some others as well but thats neither here nor there.needless to say we found the dragon up in the hills while i did manage to steal some gold from him the rest wash a wash it failed miserably. our companion seadin i think it was fell after i got some loot i found out so i went to go after him and i got to close so the dragon got me. thank goodness myrkul allowed me to come back. ill get even with that dragon one day. grrr what more can this land throw at me giants orcs frost giants hill giants ogres dragons hags grrr they all seem to hone in on me and single me out of groups. but i suppose it not all bad i do get to travel with my other two closest friends elva and volo oh yay roxy got to come along this time too that was a bonus i missed her.
