Thank you, 7threalm, for all of your tremendous work in building us a better world to play in. Good luck with everything from here on out!
Thanks also to the other developers. You're never thanked enough. Daily thanks might not be enough for all the work some of you've put in!

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
I already expressed my goodbye to you via PM Maecius but wanted to publicly say farewell as well. If it weren't for some of the advice you gave me a while back I probably would have never found the clarity in life as I have now.
So all in all, I give you my infinite appreciation for all that you have done.

The Highcoin Festival

A tremendous thank you to everyone who made tonight's Highcoin celebration possible.
First among all of them, Koba (Kobamw) for having the idea, and then doing all the organizing and the hosting! It was great to see the normally reticent, somewhat bookish Koba take the stage!
Second, of course, the Sword Coast Commercial Exchange, and all of its members (especially Lyrewyn, Endelyon, Grey-Moth, Sparrow, Koba again, Zanniej, and Kasso), for making it happen and for providing the ceremony's support. And the White Mask Theater for being such gracious hosts, and allowing us to make use of their beautiful facilities.
Third, to the Overwatch Knights of Helm for providing security, the performers, all of you, the SCCE guards, and the servers (who weren't hired and probably were just picking your pockets, but they added to the ambiance!).
And finally to the guests, especially those who donated or who actively RPed with others. All of the donations will be forwarded to the DMs so that we can spray money around the city when we celebrate Spheres -- two weeks from today!
Special, special thanks to DMs Dialectic and Bloodlust, for helping us set everything up. Dialectic did our first set up, and Bloodlust did the emergency replacement setup you see in the screenshot above. You both went out of your way to help us set this scene, and we all very much appreciate it. You brought a lot of life and flavor to our event!
Thanks again everyone!

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
A big thank you to MedalOfValor who is certainly deserving a medal of valor after helping the betting on a very short notice after IRL circumstances came up for the other player. All while dealing with a burnt hand too! Your roleplaying over these past weeks has been fantastic and I look forward to more.
A thank you goes to Nomster for not making a dramatic scene and causing Sveta more headaches this time. With Xavier there I thought it was likely. I jest, thank you for your song. I was way to busy to notice so I'm not sure if these thank yous are correctly placed but thank you Steamer567 and MopKnight if you did help poor Eleanor out.
It was a good showing from all contestants and I thank you all for participating. There certainly plenty of tense fights, upsets or very near upsets, and a large variety of showings. I apologize if I missed any notes of RP directed to Sveta, I was trying to manage like 3-4 things at once and wish I made more time to made flairful comments and remarks in introducing the fighters rather than being so bland in the introductions. I apologize also for the confusion surrounding the betting, but you should have read the poster!

The Festival of Spheres

Thank yous galore to everyone who showed up for tonight's Spheres celebration.
Koba (Kobamw), thank you for making Waukeen roleplay a reality in Baldur's Gate. It was lots of fun to see how Highcoin and Spheres worked together. And it was super fun to have lootable gold piles for everyone to run after!
Thanks also to the Sword Coast Commercial Exchange, and all of its members (especially Lyrewyn, Endelyon, Sparrow, Koba again) for making it happen and for leading the ceremonial parade.
Third, to the Overwatch Knights of Helm for providing security -- again!
And finally to the guests, even those who nay-sayed the wisdom of the event and secretly wished there was a Department of Health and Human Services (or at least an OSHA) for the Forgotten Realms!
Special, special thanks to DM Ghost for helping us set everything up. The catapults were fun, and the gold piles were a great touch!

Big thanks to DM Ghost for the you-know-whats with the you-know-whos, and whatever is still to come. You're an awesome DM even if you have an absolutely terrifying avatar. Keep up the great work, and feel appreciated.

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
Since returning to the server, I've noticed an enhanced quality of DM assistance that has been nothing but superb. Whether it is in game help (which occured exceptionally quickly by three different DMs) or by forum query's which I recieved a response in only a few hours, the attentativeness of the staff is something rich and golden.
I'm currently deployed away from home but you all, and the players who've become friends over time, make this time a just a little better for me. So my sincerest thank you

Cheers!
