Re: Order of the Radiant Heart Role-Play
A blue robed elven woman stops by the Order of the Radiant Heart in the farmlands outside the Eastern Gate and gives a rolled and sealed letter stamped with the symbol of Mystra to the man-at-arms standing guard by the entrance and asks that he deliver it to the Sunite Paladin named Erza.

Re: Order of the Radiant Heart Role-Play
Eldarian glanced over the golden key in his hand with crinkled brows.
He turned it over and over in constant inspection, watching it glint when the sunlight caught it just right. So many paths and choices stood before him and this was just one more added to the list.
He took a breath and slapped the key against his hand before he strode toward the armored man near the gate.
The gift had been bestowed and he would take the offer.

Re: Order of the Radiant Heart Role-Play
A song is issued (by a young man; nineteen years old), and a group heralds a powerful, enthusiastic protesting. A song of education, and to Dave Counterpunch's eyes (the most dedicated human being on the campaign trail to defame Arkaine HalfOrken); a divine prediction; the Grandmaster's enemies grow daily. Striking in different forms.
(Singing begins.)
"Your trust will ne'er be betrayed, stand vigilant, and strong. Patience too, one must endure, your watch eternal long... the poor and weak and destitute, these are your charges. The young and chaste, and old and bent... guarded they shall not fall. On the field we must be strong and hold our weapons true. Trust in flesh and bone and steel with fail will get you through. Study hard your enemy, and thus to battle go. With knowledge of his prowess, skill. Anticipate this foe. But most of all good men of rank. Respect command and officers and they will you thanks."
Dave pulls out a staring eye with blue pupil on an upright war-gauntlet. "You should be anticipating me at every corner, like your God decreed."
Deyla with the same tone and a high-pitched voice, "Yet life is easy and good as gold, all listen not to the preacher's scowl."
Dave: "I will come back with a portrait of the pacifistic woman you killed in cold blood... You only won because you voted for yourself. Remember: the first month you were inaugurated to office you sat in your private quarters."
Deyla: "That man speaks the truth!" She points with her half-eaten breadstick at Dave.
Elindarian: "You seem to know quite a bit."
Dave: "Remove the corruptive disease; the current-day Grandmaster, and all favoritism shall be abolished. The Dukes aren't afraid to tell sir Arkaine when he bends the law... when he tried to attack a zhentarim representative. The Fist wouldn't let him. Zhentarim are terrible, but they were complying with the law."
Deyla: "Aye!"
Dave: "And the law should be respected."
Deyla: "That is the truth. I have heard the same things. From eye-witnesses."
A woman named Elanor walks up later.
"Have you taken any moment at all to consider how tough and demanding the life of Paladinhood is? How it changes a person? How is that person tested so many times?"
Dave replies smoothly, "The last thing we want is a paladin in office trying to seek the pity of the public."

Re: Order of the Radiant Heart Role-Play
A letter is delivered to the man that stands outside the compound's gates.
The deliverer's face is that of a child; smudged with soot and dirty, but there is a twinkle to his eye. He rubs a few golden coins together in between dirty fingers.
It is urged that the matter is of clear import and the letter must be answered quickly.

Re: Order of the Radiant Heart Role-Play
Shortly after the child leaves his note, a small, young woman follows up, hefting a large oilskin sack. She sets it down and procures a sheet of paper and a card, which she delivers to the man-at-arms with a little reluctance.
Once delivered, the woman will heft the sack and run off southwards.

Re: Order of the Radiant Heart Role-Play
*A letter is dispatched to the Order of The Radiant Heart, coincidentally*
Dear Knights,
Valiant was killed one time by Arkaine Halforken before a purple-dressed woman teleported him to safety. The second confrontation resulted in Valiant being badly beaten but not killed. These duels did -not- occur on the same day. There was eye-witnesses there such as Sywn the Ranger, and the Flaming Fist whom no doubt saw the lawlessness taking place by Arkaine of "Helm". Lawless behavior...since fighting in the Eastern Farmlands is frowned upon. Please tell the truth.
With lack of regard,
Valiant Blinncraft (The highly-esteemed torturer of Grandmaster Arkaine's mind)

Re: Order of the Radiant Heart Role-Play
It is late in the evening when a blonde-haired figure, dressed in casual worn leathers of purple hue, passes by the gates of the Chapterhouse. Pausing momentarily, her blue eyes dance over the exterior with fond recollection. It had been a few tenday since Cecilia had returned from her voyage home, sought out soon after by the Lady Erza of Sune with a request: to rejoin the Order of the Radiant Heart, and see it flourish once again.
Days had passed, and still the Tyrran could not make up her mind nor come to a decision.
It was not long until her gaze found the plaque, however, and she approached so that it might be read it more clearly in the dim light of eve. The nearby guard is given a warm smile, quite likely that the two would recognise each other, before Cecilia reads over the words formed in stone. A sigh leaves her lips some time later, her blue orbs lingering on the final paragraph that detailed her former mentor... or rather, its lack of detail.
Jonas was right.
"One would think the Grandmaster, having been a witness to the deadly blade plunged into the Dreadlord's chest when weakened by the gauntlet, would have recorded such upon said notice, rather than omitting the deeds of another in fear of his own actions being unravelled; the graze borne by the Dreadlord coming at the cost of a Squire's life, for example. Or that it may have been his own words which drove Eliphas from the path of possible redemption and into the arms of Bane." the blonde woman murmurs softly. It is possible she offers words to the nearby Man-At-Arms, or perhaps she is merely thinking out loud. Regardless, her gaze remains fixed on the plaque, fingers brushing over the cold stone. "Were I a woman more chaotic at heart, perhaps I would seek to correct such. Alas, there remain those dwindling few of us whom serve with humility and seek not the spotlight."
....Only worry for future generations of Squires to come.
Pulling up her hood, the Lady-Knight smiles sadly and dips her head to the nearby guard before turning on her heels and departing in the direction of the Gate's hustle and bustle.
If nothing else, at least Cecilia had found her answer to the Heartwarder's question.
