Appearance: Belec has a rough or rugged appearance, always sporting a bit of a beard or facial growth. His hair is blonde and his eyes are a bluish gray. At 6' tall, he is slightly taller than an average man. He has no identifying marks or scars on his face.

Age: Early 20's.
Height: At 6', he is taller than the average man, but nothing to write home about. If you are an elf, he towers over you.
Weight: Approximately 225.3 lbs.
Eyes: Bluish gray
Hair: Blonde
Facial Hair Style: Always sports a bit of growth, but never lets it get out of control and maintains a neat appearance.

Personality Profile: Belec's demeanor is that of the quiet professional. He doesn't say much, and when he does speak, its to the point and bottom line. As a paladin, he maintains his composure in even the most heated situations always thinking about contingencies for every possible situation.
General Health: Belec is in excellent health and has no issues.
Deity: Belec is faithful paladin of Lathander and despises undead (backstory for that)
Initial Alignment: His alignment wasn't always Lawful Good (see backstory), but as a paladin, he understands the necessity (subconsciously) for being lawful good.
Profession: Paladin of Lathander
Base Class & Proposed Development: Fighter (early years prior to dedicating his life to Lathander)/Paladin (backstory will define how he chose to become a paladin)
Habits/Hobbies: His hobby is his life of service to Lathander.
Languages: Common and bits and pieces of a few other languages
Weapon of Choice: Greatsword. He doesn't feel comfortable with a shield and sword and feels off-balance.

Background: Belec is the only child to Belecthor and Liddia Thalion. Named after his father but quickly adopted the shorter version of the name and now simply goes by Belec. His mother died giving birth to him and never new her. His father was a simple yet quiet man and never spoke of his mother growing up. The other side of Belec's father was that of a drunk. A man who had lost everything and turned to ale to forget the past. Once a good man who loved his wife and cared for his son, Belecthor began to decline, mostly due to the excessive amount of ale. But he began to place blame on his son, blame for the death of his beautiful wife. Belec's father continued to spiral down from way to much ale, and a hatred to burned inside of him for his son...the son responsible for the death of his wife.

Belec's father began coming home late at night and would beat Belec, something Belec would usually wake up to...a fist in the face. Belec took many beatings from his declining father before he started looking for a way out, an escape from what was becoming a nightly event.

One night, while his father was away at the pub boozing it up on ale, Belec searched his fathers belongings in his room, looking for anything that was once his mothers. While he was searching, his father came home, but Belec was unaware. As Belec searched through an old chest in his fathers room, his father walked up behind him and smashed him over the head with a wooden club knocking him out. When Belec came to, he was tied to his bed and his father was standing over him. It was at this point that Belec's father had placed all blame for his wifes death on his son. He no longer looked at his son as family. He only saw the killer of his wife. Something had come over his father that was beyond ale, a possession by something greater than cheap booze.

Belec feared for his life, not knowing how far his father would take this...would his father seek the ultimate revenge and kill him? Or would the booze wear off just in time and Belec would only get minor bruises and cuts. Belec did not know, nor did he wish to find out.
