Appearance: Adorned with a white and grey cloak made from the hide of a once mighty dire wolf, this young and wise Elf bears a brutal scar across his left eye the origin of which has yet to be told. His skin tone is a blend of copper and brown with a hint of green and his eyes are a rich brown. His long dark brown hair is coarse and slightly matted in some areas as it falls over his shoulders and partially obscures his face. A thin, slightly pointed nose and chiseled jawline cradle his somewhat gaunt cheekbones. He is tall and firm.

Personality Profile: Ashelm's primary motivation is learning more from nature with every passing day. His emotions are fleeting and he can easily appear distant or unsympathetic as a strong 'survival of the fittest' vein runs through him. He his hopeful for the future of his world and views civilization as a product of nature worthy of respect. He is adaptable and honorable. In conversation he can be somewhat reserved and some might say secretive, and it is obvious he is reluctant to abide the laws of the places he visits. His sense of humour may be viewed as partially absent or awkward as he is not extremely familiar with the conventions of the cultures around him, and he often ponders the diversity of the world as he experiences it leaving him quite aloof. Ashelm acknowledges several deities, but none stand above Silvanus and Selune.

Habits/Hobbies: A common practice for Ashelm is to plant nuts and seeds of trees and other plant life in his travels through outdoor environments using druidic magic to imbue the seeds. An avid wood carver, Ashelm also dabbles in the construction and playing of wooden flutes.

Background: Hailing from the small island of Moray nestled within the archipelago of the Moonshae Isles, Ashelm Woodfang is no stranger to savage wilds where beasts, orcs and lycanthropes make their stay. Immersed in the culture of his people for decades his kin are a devoted, cunning and relentless minority who are in a constant struggle for survival. Born to hunt alongside his Father and brothers, they spent many nights stalking prey and worshiping nature together. With the curse of lycanthropy spreading like wildfire across the mostly human populations of the islands, Ashelm's kin took pride in ending the lycanthrope struggle to control their affliction and managed to almost completely purge the curse from their lands. Successful in his endeavors of becoming a Druid, Ashelm took pride in the culling of his homelands and decided against his Father's will to make the arduous journey to Caer Callidyrr where he would then use his skills to continue destroying aberrations.
Goals: Ashelm has 3 primary goals: Fortify nature any way he can, Control the most ferocious of wild shapes, and destroy as many lycanthropes as he can.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Ashelm spent time with the human farm folk of the land surrounding Caer Callidyrr, and there he learned to speak common. After spending close to a year working odd jobs as a farm hand and hunter gatherer, one day bringing furs and meat to trade, Ashelm heard tales of human wererats festering beneath the streets of a place called Baldur's Gate. With the little he owned, he found himself on a merchant ship sailing for the sword coast.[/size]
