Among the ranger cycles, rumor spreads quickly, that the well known ranger Celduil has asked for able trackers to help with a patrol

*A poster is put up at both the Friendly Arms Inn and on the noticeboard just outside the Elfsong Tavern*

Are you a scout or woodsman who fancies yourself a Protector of the Land? Need some work, but don't know where to start? Here is the chance for you! We are looking for able-bodied lads or lasses willing to aid us during our patrol to the north. Our aim is to watch out for any undead incursions en-route from Warlock's Crypt and to give due warning to the southern lands, should any undead threat be sighted there. If you are interested in joining our services, please contact Celduil by leaving a message by the Shrine of Chauntea, located just north of the Baldur's Gate bridge.

Rumor spreads quickly within ranger cycles, that a hin ranger is in need of specific equipment. Those willing can help her out

Thistle, a hin from Gullykin, is looking for a ring boosting her ranger capabilities. She would love to own a ring with a special "oompph", as she puts it.

Thistle who is slowly exploring all the woods and wild lands in every direction from Gullykin jumps gladly to the occasion to help her fellow rangers of the region. She leaves a note where Celduil may be reached, that she is usually around the Friendly Arm Inn or in Gullykin, if her services would be needed.

She leaves a little sketch of a unicorn below too. Clearly she follows the path of the Supreme Ranger.

*A filthy dwarf emerges from the wilds, appearing quite haggard from what probably has been a long journey of weeks. As he encounters his brethren he asks after Vendor Xon, beseeching them to pass word if they should happen to see the half elf.*

*A filthy half-elf and the same filthy dwarf meet at the Friendly Arm Inn. Shortly afterwards they enter the Woods of the Sharpteeth, probably to get filthier*

A few rangers and druids are seen returning to the Eastern Farmlands of Baldur's Gate after a long expedition in the north. Looks of terror and fear and implications of some sort of "bone wyrm" and "undead knight" scouts seem to be on their lips as they go about their business back in civilization and their public gossip is picked up by passing Baldurian farmers and talked about extensively among the common folk in the area with concern.

Rumors would spread amongst the rangers circles, about a patrol that took place North of the Troll Claws. The words Administrator, Collectors, Bone Wyrm stand out, while concerns are expressed of a great evil in that area.

Vendor Xon leaves a message by the Shrine of Mielikki:

"Hello Rangers of the Sword Coast,

I ask for your help in a special mission. If you are interested please try to contact me as soon as possible.

Thistle leaves a message that she would like to help Vendor. She then returns to guard the paths around Gullykin.

Glad that some of the rangers answered his call, Vendor Xon prepares his gear for their mission.

*Wai Li puts up flyers in Baldur's Gate and other Western Heartlands and Sword Coast cities and towns advertising for capable warriors, rangers, and trackers and offering significant payment for a dangerous job. She states for any interested to contact Watchknight Wai Li at the Temple of the Shield in Baldur's Gate.*
