Background:
Birthplace: Unknown, raised in Gullykin

Rosie was always bigger and stronger than her twin brothers Jake and Jack even though they are two years older than her. She could and frequently would round on them if they bothered her in any way and was always the victor even if the boys would combine their efforts. Moreover her coloring was starkly different than that of the rest of the family who were uniformly dark in both complexion and hair color. Her family, as one might gather from their surname, tended gardens including their own which supplies flowers to the trade as far away as Beregost.

When Rosie was 17, the temporary settlement of the elves in Gullykin prior to their move to Doron Amar was a wonderment. She would wander the encampment chatting with whomever would allow. but she was most enamored with the dashing elf swordsmen and especially the honorable knight Sir Jonas Rokranon, a frequent visitor to the encampment. This had a very strong influence on her chosen profession.

It came as no surprise to her that shortly after the elves departed her foster mother divulged the truth -- that Rosie was orphaned from a caravan and taken in by the Gardeners. While they gave her many good years, Rosie realized they and Gullykin weren't truly home for her. She set off on with the next trade wagon to Beregost from where she hired on to a caravan that brought her to Amn. After a few odd jobs she managed to snag a spot as a deckhand on a merchant ship in return for passage to Waterdeep.

While in the North Sword Coast she met a clan of Strongheart Halflings in Red Larch and realized even her racial heritage was different from her foster family. She also learned of Arvoreen and decided to dedicate her life to becoming one of his champions.

Goals: Champion Arvoreen; protect little folk; fight evil.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
- The obvious "lost parents" hook, about which Rosie isn't particularly interested at this time.
- Any "halfling in danger" plot, particularly as relates to Gullykin (once she's leveled enough to get there).
- A natural interest in elves, particularly any holdovers from the days of the (DA) Gullykin encampment.
