Background:

Born in the city of Bezantur, Melchizdek was the only child of a Mulan noble family. Tested at an early age for any sign of arcane talent, Melchizdek displayed a natural aptitude and was immedietly inducted into wizardry school. For years he labored and toiled beside his peers under the harsh guidance of the Red Wizard Kubir Doth.

Melchizdek stood apart from his fellow classmates, distinguishing himself through his cunning, resourcefulness, and ambition. While others fell by the side and perished, Melchizdek excelled at his studies showing great promise as an Evocator.

Meanwhile, his father already a Red Wizard of great repute was plotting to take over and become the next Zulkir of Evocation. Unfortunatley he and his conspiritors were found out and executed. Melchizdek's mother fearing for his safety paid a local slave trader to smuggle him out of Thay.

Melchizdek vowed to learn the ways of High Magic and to return to take revenge and perhaps become Zulkir himself


Goals:
Currently, Melchizdek has traveled to Baldurs Gate seeking to join the Thayan Enclave.
He hopes to learn under the Red Wizards to grow in power.
