Troubles finding the game download

Hello!
It's been a while since I last RP'ed here, but now I really feel like returning again. However, I have encountered a problem, I don't have the game installed anymore. And the tricky part is, I can't find anywhere to download it again since the digital download from my original purchase has expired and doesn't exist anymore. I have the game key codes but no game.

Is there anywhere I can download the game from and simply use my game codes? I tried looking around and just downloading a version from torrents, but those versions didn't ask for game codes so that didn't work either...

Maybe you know of a place to get the game without having to buying again?

You need to make a text document/put game codes into a text document for nwn2

"Go to your Neverwinter Nights 2 folder in your documents.

Look for a file named nwn2cdkey.ini and open it.

If there are no keys written to the lines Key1, Key2, and Key3, get your keys from your Steam Library by Right-Clicking Neverwinter Nights 2, and selecting View Game CD Key. The first key goes into Key1, the second key to Key2, and the last one to Key3. Save it, and try again.

You will need to enter the keys in the following format:
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX"

I'll send you the Key1/Key2/Key3 Format once I get on my computer at home, unless someone else does on this thread.

key1 is Original Campaign, key2 is Mask of the Betrayer expansion, key3 is Storm of Zehir expansion.


If you have downloaded the GOG version of the game there is an application in your main game folder ("C:\GOG Games\Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete" is mine for an example, I'm not sure if it's the default one) called SerialTool.exe

Just run that and enter your keys there, it does the job for you.

Patched nwn2.

Just change nwncdkey.ini to your keys.
The current file is a blanked out key so it will not work.

If you launch nwn2, it will create a my docs folder for you.

Thanks, this helped downloading and launching the game!

However, now it says the CD keys are not authorized (I'm sure I wrote them correct in correct order) And I'm at a loss of what to do now... Does it matter if I installed platinum version or not? I saw some people saying on other forrums to create a new account, but somehow I doubt that'd make a difference here

If you downloaded from Luna's site you have to alter the cd keys in the .ini file. If you already did that, then I am out of suggestions.

ok after fixing one problem I got a new one I have a hard copy of the game I down loaded and it run but now when I got into multi player its says cd key codes unauthorized

any advice what to do I got the same cd key codes I always had not sure why its not takeing them now I had problem when I first played multi player years ago with this but forget how I got it fixed??
