I continue to explore the areas around the Friendly Arms Inn, on the Sword Coast, looking for adventure and opportunities. I have established contact with a merchant named Kalil who seems like he might be amenable to some dealings.
My brothers in the Knights of the Shield will be sent a scroll to tell them that the area is roipe for exploitation.

Re: Durzo d'Ath - A Knight's Ledger
I met up at the Friendly Arms Inn with a dwarf that offered to sell me a highly protective breastplate. We couldn't get together on a price, but he offered it to me in lieu of a service to him. He desires me to enter Durlag's Tower, of which I have heard distance rumors but know nothing substantiative, and kill the black dragon within.
This is intriguing. I have had a very small amount of training in Dragonslaying, it being the ancient foundation of my House's wealth, and I am sure my father would be proud to hear that I had brought doom to a wyrm. I also know that dragons tend to amass hoards of wealth, and that might mean that there would be something to gain monetarily as well.
I am continuing my training at arms, and have been carefully evaluating those I adventure with, seeking out individuals with needed skills. I posted a notice at the Elfsong seeking information, but no one has replied.

Re: Durzo d'Ath - A Knight's Ledger
I was hired, along with many others, by a gnome in service to a great white dragon, to rescue her children from an army of undead lead by a lich. We waded through a few units of undead after negotiating with a tribe of frost giants. After locating the wyrmlings and the Lich, we entered the fray. He cast fear on everyone and most were left cowering and piddling on themselves. I was able to resist it and slew the Lich, amazing even myself.
The other adventurers foolishly wished to hold the wyrmlings hostage to gain some artifact from the dragon. I argued we had been engaged to rescue them. These forces of "law" and "Right" seem to have no honor. In Amn such as they would be thrown to the dogs.
Eventually I prevailed and we returned the wyrmlings. Their mother was impressed with my efforts and gave me a an axe (shoddy), and the artifact to the do-gooders. They took it back to their Council or whatever.
