Sending Scrolls / Wands?

Hello,

are there Sending scrolls or wands in the game? Or is the spell restricted to sorc / wiz / cleric?

There aren't any, no, for obvious reasons. Sending is a custom, albeit dnd, spell and as such cannot be scribed to scrolls or made into wands.

Rasael did actually make sending scrolls though, I know Izzrar had a stack of ten at one point. So presumably they are available to the DM team?

we had this exact same discussion a year ago. and presumably the year before as well. people think they would be op and would diminish the value of the classes that can cast sending.

Not to the same extent in my opinion.

Most spells have varying power or duration based on Spell Caster level.

This one doesn't. There's -very- little reason not to buy a stack of ten of these, and never bother memorizing them.

If you use Bull's Strength scrolls, you'll have a limited duration of the spell. If you use Magic Missile scrolls, you'll deal less damage.

I think you get into a dangerous area when you begin discussing what spells should and should not be accessible via scrolls and wands. Either all of them should be on the table or none.
