Suuuuurgery... :(

Getting surgery tomorrow early, not sure how I will feel afterwards. I'm having a REEALLY bad feeling about it so I'm super nervous, so if I'm missing a few days I apologize in advance!

dont you wrong i have one at Thursday i have been on hospital for 3 weaks now this vill be my 11 surgery theyneed to safemy right lunges so i can breath again

Shouldn't be kept overnight, but gonna be stuck in a bed for 2 weeks! Means as long as the drugs aren't knocking me out I'll be around, once I get over the general crap of it

I feel you pain right now. Not of the pain but the nerves - I had a baby and a car crash and I still think the pressure of study is much more painful :P Good luck! Be Strong and ..... make people do shit for you!

Surgery 1/2 complete. It went amazingly well, other than some PTSD from war after I woke up. Got held down and sedated, banged my leg around trying to fight everyone to get up lol, so they gave me some meds that were a step up for Morphine. They then told me that I would be out of it for a few days, and I'm already (I'm very stubborn) on my feet/and crutch. So yeah, I will not be away for these days to follow. Thank god for high pain thresholds and drugs!

P.S., the support of the only real community I have outside of my work helps a lot! It meant a lot to me, to be reminded that we are all a community on this server with the same goal! Thank you guys, it helped me tons to know that.

I'm glad it went well, Israe! Welcome home and don't push yourself too hard. :P Those elephant tranquilizers they gave you to prevent you from breaking their noses probably weren't just saline!
