What percentage of the server is evil?

I've noticed something about BGTSCC: everyone is evil. This is atypical from my experiences with RP servers in other games.

If I had to guess: about 70% of the server is evil, and I don't think I am being hyperbolic.

This isn't terribly surprising because I think the evil-exclusive classes tend to be more powerful than the good and neutral exclusive classes, but it's an oddity nonetheless.

Do we have some official numbers?

Evil is probably in the eye of the beholder.

Statistically, a vast majority of the server is technically neutral. Neutrals can be selfish though, and selfishness can be seen as evil behavior.

Perhaps that's what you're noticing?

We saw a server vault dump some time ago where it said about 32% Good, 35% Neutral and 33% Evil, but that's all the characters that are in the vault (and not archived). This means that there can be a lot of alts that are never played or even entire accounts that have been inactive for some time. So it's hard to give any good statistics on this, as it just doesn't take activity into consideration.

If you're playing in the UD, I'd say 90% are evil. On the surface there are many more good and neutral chars running around for sure.

Many people also assume my dwarf is evil when in reality he's just a chaotic 4CHA a-hole lol.

Perhaps that's what you're noticing?

Not evil as in taking evil actions, but evil as in their character sheet has evil on it. Most people on the server are quite nice actually, and the ones that aren't nice are RPing a low CHA character effectively.

The numbers of good aligned clerics, paladins, and such are just incredibly rare. Assassins, blackguards and priests of evil gods (I know, last one could still be neutral) are incredibly common.
