BGTSCC utilises FR lore, locke, but need not remain slavish to it. We're running our own campaign in the setting and thus can deviate from lore based on the activities of the players/DMs.

Thus there -can- be a wizard tower in Gullykin because our players spent time and resources getting it built. :)

Exerpt from a private PM dated 9th December, 2014, when I was enquiring from the original Weavemaster's guild founder about reviving it:
Cort Thundershot wrote:Gullykin Tower was indeed built by Elias (during broham1's time as head dm) for the purpose of being a getaway. While the tower does certainly have it's secrets that I can not disclose either IC'ly or OOC'ly, it was never warded. Elias wanted to keep the majority of the tower open to whoever wished to visit. In fact, I have always RP'd that the hins of Gullykin cared for the tower in Elias' absence. Deakin squatting there was never much of an issue for him, so it wasn't addressed.

There was discussion at one point in creating a portal between there and Istari Tower so that the guild might have free travel between the two. Gullykin Tower was not intended to be used by the Weavemasters unless Istari was lost, so the design is a bit awkward. Friends and students though were always welcome to stay there as long as they wanted or needed.

Elias is most certainly retired to a small cottage a few miles west of Neverwinter Wood. Visits and correspondence from old friends certainly aren't out of the question though. Someone who knew Elias would certainly find a way to reach him if they so desired. I would be up for some forum rp regarding those things that Aeili needs to help get the ball rolling.
And for the record, the DMs got back to me at that time saying the Tower was in use, but did not say by who, and therefore was unavailable for use as a potential guild HQ. I have since shelved plans to revive the Weavemaster guild.
