Server up!

IP changing isn't that effective unfortunately. As we have to display the changed IP publicly.

I have a feeling the DDOS'ers are at it again. Before last reset there were similar lag symptoms as during the previous attacks, and horrible lag now, plus I think the server just hiccup'd.

There's been some indication from other servers that it could be our DDoSer at it again, but it's probably too early to tell. There's a lot of weather going on at the moment in the Midwest region of North America where our server is hosted.

So here's hoping it clears up once the weather does.

Hey Mac,

Not the we particularly that we need to know, but has there been any indication as to the motivations of the offending DDoSer party? I just can't seem to fathom what their purpose is

Typical DDoSers are angry script-kiddies living in their parent's basement. If the crashing is because of a DDoSer, their motivations don't matter.
