Karond wrote:"I can definitely trade the longswords onwards, but the gloves I cannot. I would rather see a trade not involving them at all. As for your proposed armor trade, I never do such trades. If I trade one item for a near identical one but worse, I lose the edge the original item had to begin with for virtually no gain. I'm looking for any other trade that equals it in value, not such trades Sir. The clothing has little value to me. It's virtually the same value as the robe I already put up for trade. Your belt has value, but you've already put forth that you're not trading it for anything of these things that you want.

The sling is also very difficult to trade onwards for me, and as such I would not value it highly at all."
Let it be the sword and 100 bags of gold for the gloves, then.

For the amulet of saves, I don't see you noticed my 250 bags offer for it?

For the armor, given you almost accepted a plain bid of 300 bags on it, I would offer the same 300 bags, +my fullplate+4 to spice it. Whatever said, it'd be fairly easy to sell.

I'm not that much interested in boots now to offer more for them.

Could you hint which value in gold you would reckon fair for the cloak (fortification +3) now?

'Hello sir dwarf, my name is Kaljefa the wizard. This is a fine collection you have there and I would like to offer you one million gold coins and a high quality item of my own collection for this fine cloak! Lets see... it could be maybe that chef d'oeuvre bastard sword named Discord! I would use myself if I was not that much into the arcanes... Anyway what do you say? If you are not looking for weapon I have much more items you might like.'
"Welcome Sir. Another elf has outbid you on that particular item. You would have to up your bid to be able to trump her, or the item is traded in 48 hours"
"Thank you kindly, Mr. Goldhands," she answers with appreciation and turns to look rather apologetically at her cousin-in-ancestry. She inwardly hopes that she does not need to drag too many more items out of the Temple's treasury to pay for the cloak.

Draviir seems happy with the dwarf's reply and leans in slightly closer, whispering "Tell me ..."

Draviir smiles, it seems a deal has been struck. "Fine Goldhands, mine for yours." He hands the dwarf a belt and flips a ring to Karond. After he does this he moves to collect his new wares ...

Tad responds

"I reckon I should raise once more.
350 bags for an amulet
350 bags and Fullplate+4 for the Fullplate+4 with immunities, or, if you'd prefer that, plain 400 bags of gold for that fullplate.
What about gloves?"

After watching the auction carefully as she went about her daily business in the city, coming and going from the SCCE mostly, the priestess would approach the stall as the time for collection draws to a close.

"I believe that no-one else seems to have outbid me for that cloak, Mr. Goldhands. I should like to arrange for its collection, if you consider this deal to be now completed in every respect."

I believe that is too much for the spear. However I do have some trade goods, although I do not think they are the same quality as yours but perhaps we could come to some arrangement. Here is a listing of what I currently possess. (Hands the dwarf a note). I am interested in both spears. What kind of agreement could we come to?
