Drow Fighter/Blackguard?

I'm looking for another build, which is an evil female Drow that can take a lot of hits and use dark magic (or whatever dark spells Blackguards use).

If you have better ideas and this isn't a good idea, suggest some changes or link me a build, please. Thanks!

A little less simple but full of damage goodness would be: F12/BG3/F5/WoD10.

My level split was based on the OP's initial statement that he wanted the casting aspect of black guard.

To the OP: realize Karond and Thorsson are both outstanding builders while I am maybe average on a good day. The build I posted Will do fine, but the others are definitely more powerful (if perhaps easier to screw up, maybe)

As far as stats, 21 STR and CHA are required for EDM which is where your damage will come from. I would start with 16 STR, 18 CHA if possible. Unless you think you'll eventually get Mithral full plate just leave DEX at 10, get a +2 item and where full plate. WIS needs to be 14 to cast level 4 BG spells unless you don't mind being item dependant in which case you can settle for 11 or 12. INT is entirely up to you, I generally try for 12, our 14 for the skill points, but to each their own... CON you should try to get to 12 if you can (ring if the knight will give +2 CON/DEX and bonus feat toughness and it isn't super difficult to get eventually).

What weapon type should I go for? I'm going with heavy shield, but don't know what weapon. Mace, morningstar, longsword? Axe? Suggestions, please!

Best weapon is Scimitar, due to the high crit range. Otherwise don't waste a feat on Exotic Weaponry and stay clear of 2 handed weapons.
