-If you haven't looted the chest yet, then, yes! There is loot inside for you.
How come there are so many items in this chest?
-Chests are not emptied until 5 minutes after the last person closes them. This is to prevent people from losing loot. If you come upon a chest before the 5 minute timer has elapsed, you may find loot that someone left behind. Don't hold your breath, though. It's probably just gonna be banded mail +1.
My level is too high for some chests, but my friend's level isn't. Can I still unlock the lower level chest for him?
-Yes. Even if your level is too high for a chest you can unlock the chest for another PC. You won't get any XP for it and you won't be able to loot it, but your lower level friend will find loot in the chest when he opens it.
It seems like I'm only finding junk since the new system went into effect. Did you change the drop percentages?
No. The likelihood of finding “good loot” has not be altered.

Unfortunately it was a 24-hour rollback on both the live server and the PC vault.
The new update kept the item changes and Beregost change for the Town Crier noted in previous post.

- Deploy new "Uldoon's Trail" which includes a village Greeneast by Tfunke. Adjacent areas adjusted and connected. It is now possible to travel from Triel to Cloudpeak foothills without going through Nashkel. Includes some below-ground stuff.
- Cloudpeak foothills - finally ended the blizzard (left over from Amn-Gate war) - D47
- Northern Tradeway and connected area(s) - new, lower-level spawns, part of plans to give PCs not welcome around BG an alternate starting point - Tfunke
- BG PD - more restoration from war - D47
- BG EGD & Int - expanded presence of orphans. Revised interior nearby. Look for Ilmater banners and RH Guard SE from Ilmater Temple. - D47
- Hellrider Outpost added at Corm Orp - Cubicle
- UD changes:
- Resolved "lanterns" appearing instead of banners for 4 different god's banners
- Cloak and helmet adjustments in AppChanger. BTW, we might be at a limit for cloaks (273).

- Original Lore changed to Lore - Arcana - all of your PC's existing Lore will be here.

Altered/New Spells and Combat Mechanics: Some of these are Frameworks that may not actually do something, yet.The following feats are intended to be received freely on login for all characters,
- Lunge.
- Pommel Strike.
- Trip.
- Aid Other.

- Bigby line now applies immediately after being cast, no delay.
- Caltrops are no longer mobile, smaller range radius, spawn closer together.
- Caltrops have a different visual effect.
- Lore skills enabled per DnD format, following DM feedback.
- Lore skills added to classes.
- Some melee strikes now no longer work with fists, like Pommel Strike.
- Melee strikes stand-in-actor should no longer be able to use items.
- Torm's wrath requires Torm as patron Deity.
- Airball & Whirlool recompile.
- Find the Path fix.
- Align Weapon now auto-selects target's weapon, if a creature was targeted.
- Strategic AI scripts made more efficient, tweaks to AI stealth detection.
- Bigby 7 and 9 now correctly use casterlevel + ability modifier in their trip roll, instead of attack bonus + strength modifier.
- Summons will now port to the caster, if they are not in combat, and if they are not told to stay put, or are marked as not-eligible for porting (mislead spell).
- Enchanting recipe spells are now QC only. Players will see a menu with no choices if they cast the spells.
- Tweaking: Strikes and Blows, Arrows.
- Bloodflame arrow now works properly.
- Greater and Legendary imbue item linked to new radial menu.
- Imbue spell series enabled. Verified that they work.
- Rune of 'xyz' spell series debugged. Verified that they work.
- Bigbys AI change roll-backed, was causing them to only use melee attacks.
- 'Appraise Item' added to context menu for Item appraising.
- Shadow Arrow: 40 second cooldown.
- Blood Freeze Arrow: 60 second cooldown.
- Darkflame Arrow: 60 second cooldown.
- Arrow Split: 60 second cooldown.
- Reserve Spell Melee attacks: 60 second cooldown.
- Righteous Smite: 30 second cooldown.
- Divine Retribution: 120 second cooldown.
- Lesser Deflection, Deflection, Sudden Aegis: 30 second cooldown.
- Fix applied for melee strike bug, which disabled the stand-in-actor.
- mrieder's loot scripts, fixed to work with disguise system.
- Verified that Bless Water code works correctly.
- Enchanting spells updated to mention requiring an imbue spell, before enchanting can work.
- Programmed Image now mentions it is a level 4 ranger spell.
- Spirit Weapon recompiled, blueprint included.
- Arrows and strikes now have a 30 second cooldown period.
- Blood and Dark arrows now do 1d6 damage, instead of 2d6, over 3 rounds.
- Pickpocketing code clean up, skill roll verification.
- Feedback message added for forbidden school spells being cast.
And this is only the past 10 days, oldest at the bottom.- Various DMFI language fixes.
- Party chat fix.
- Enchanted Blade and Electric Bow: should expire on rest.
- Clairaudience & Clairvoyance as well as Amplify adjusted per QC discussion.
- Warning: properly requires HELM as deity.
- Description adjustments for: C&C, Amplify, Blades / Strikes, Arrows, Deflections, True Seeing, and spells that require deity.
- Hail of Arrows: targeting fixed.
- Communion: targeting fixed.
- Blessed strike: is now a reserve spell.
- Burning strike: is now a reserve spell.

- Corrected door issues in two areas
- Restored the AppChanger button
- RCR NPC in Nexus should give 100% XP restore/transfer, for limited time only - dialog will indicate 50% but should get 100%. Take Screenshot before RCR in case you have problems.
- Problem with Pick Lock skill, keys and locked doors should be corrected
Note - did not do anything w.r.t. new Knowledge/Lore distribution. Collecting data on what might require adjusting IAW DnD V2 - V3.5 rule sets as available.

Note: If you have a hand-held lantern item that is now a banner, you will need to get it replaced by DM or buy a new one.
Apparently in last update the Skills.2DA file was snafu-ed causing issue with Pick Lock becoming wrongly, widely available and Perform being turned off for all.
It may be a few days before I get back to that. Caution in taking points in Pick Lock. You may soon find they are half-their original worth after the next HAK update.
Post bug comments in new 11Mar2016 Bug Update Thread.
- Full script re-compile trying to nudge some bugs away.
- Shadow dancer required feat granted again.
- Archmage required feat granted again.
- DMFI (attempted) language duplication fix --> Not obvious to me it took on restart with existing PC
- Item tweaks -> related to enchanted bow/sword crash
- Attempt repair (again

BG-Shops - now sell lanterns @ 7Suns, S-Sundries and Maltz.- Added (experimental) Study Spell feat, for deciphering and learning spells from imbued items.
- Study Spell feat granted on login.
- Scribe Spell context menu option disabled.
- Arrows and Strikes adjusted so the stand-in-actor shouldn't use AI anymore, obeys its script.
- Sand Warriors: removed special ability spells.
- Imbue Item spells: XP set to 1, pending further development.
- Rune spells made friendlier: target item saved with initial spell, no need to keep selected.
- DM Re-name creature option: Disguise name changes entirely replaced, new name is permanent 'real' name.
- DMFI Languages: Duplicate languages will now be removed on login.
- Language Thesuarus: Word to word translation should be running again.
- Projected Images: Items and abilities are removed.
- Nixy's Grace: Stats back at +4.
- Silverbeard: Visual effect removed again.
- Shield Charge / Charge / Battle Howl: Feat use requirement fixed.
- Ranged Combat now provides mechanical feedback, can be switched off through options dialogue.
- Melee combat no longer uses attack obstructions and assorted parry rolls.
- Caltrops are now hostile creatures.
- Invisibility no longer resets perception list every round, only when initially cast. Caused targeting issues.
- Blood vision now produces a ghostly character, at level 1, with hidden inventory. It cannot do anything.
- Silent Alarm and Rune of Light cantrip Wizard and Bard only, DM Golem.
- Shadow Conjuration and Shade radial spells are now all Illusion spells.
- Mass Heal can now heal up to 350 HP.
- Hellfire Warlock summon should be dismiss-able now.
- Tweaks to Melf's meteors, Enchanted Blade, Enchanted Bow.
- A few unspecified fixes in view of logged exploits.
A bunch of changes on Skills and PRC Pre-req 2DA files.
Languages are still broken, it seems, for older PCs.
