I was wondering if anyone may know of a good dragon shape/dragon companion build. It sounds like something I'd really enjoy playing! But I'm pretty new to D&D, and know basically nothing about how to build characters. I've looked on nwn2db and can't find any that I can build on this server.
Would be greatly appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction! (Preferably a non-human race.)

Re: Looking for dragon shape/companion build
Dragon druid is 30 levels all druid with high wisdom (requires 27 or 28 I think)
Chord Silverstrings - Bard and OSR Squire / Tarent Nefzen - Arcane Wand Merchant and Master Alchemist / Irrace Arkentlar - Drow Adventurer / Finneaus Du'Veil - Gem Merchant and Executive Officer of SCCE

*casts summon Truthiness to this thread*
Now wait patiently. He is slow. But it will be worth it.
Edit: Apparently doesn't want to post. So here's what I squeezed out of him on IRC!

Truthiness wrote:[17:37] <@Truthiness> Also, pretty sure anyone can build a dragon druid.Just 30 druid with 28+ wisdom, and take epic animal companion with dragon companion.
[17:37] <@Truthiness> So basically what chad said.
[17:38] <@Truthiness> Only required feats are really natural spell, extend spell, dragon shape, (epic animal companion and dragon companion if he wants the dragon companion).
[17:39] <@Truthiness> Beyond that it's up to choice.
[17:39] <@Truthiness> ICE, maximise/empower spell, weapon focus: unarmed, zen archery, acidic splatter, etc.
[17:39] <@Truthiness> They don't really matter as much
[17:40] <@Truthiness> Save for maybe spell focuses and ICE
[17:42] <@Truthiness> Also, I just don't like to post on the forums, usually overthink my posts and end up taking a while to write the post, or just end up saving the draft and never posting.
[17:43] <@Truthiness> Also, physical stats don't matter as much, though, Hawke's build is far too min-maxy. >.>
[17:44] <@Truthiness> And silent spell is pointless, for the most part.
...
[17:53] <@Truthiness> But, I did miss a few good feats. Spell focuses in Conjuration or Evocation and Spellcasting Prodigy.
[17:54] <@Truthiness> This is why I don't post. >.>

This is A build. http://nwn2db.com/build/?131410
I am sure I could tweak it to be better, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

If the text is this color, I am on duty, everything else is just my humble opinion.

Re: Looking for dragon shape/companion build
Thanks for the tips, Tsidkenu/Truthiness and Hawke!
I found one that looked like it worked, and made some adjustments to make it for an aasamir character. Here's the link: http://nwn2db.com/build/?235763
I'll definitely look into the advice given by Truthiness, and flip between my build and Hawke's to see if there are tweaks I can make. If you any of you wish to pick at it too, I wouldn't mind. You've helped quite a lot already. Thank you.
