Yes; TWF Hideous Blow, with Feint with a decent AB. It's something rather different, as I said.Hopea wrote:Well, that doesn't progress casting/invocation, so might for a melee heavy one.

Re: Warlock Build Help Wanted
Another thing that could be fun is going very high charisma and focusing on social skills, but that'd be a bit of a waste unless I also went with DC focus.
Anyway, for now, I think I'll try out the build I last linked. If I end up unhappy with that I shall return for more advice.
Currently though, thank you all for the help and tips!

Re: Warlock Build Help Wanted
The more I play this the more I am finding myself liking the stealth aspects of the build. I wasn't expecting that. I also find myself barely using my Warlock blasts at all (I do use Invocations a lot tho) apart from Hideous Blow.
Too bad I can't fit in Epic Dodge without losing Eldritch Master (or Shadowdancer).
Are there any other PrCs that progress Warlock blasting/invocations than Stormsinger, Daggerspell Mage and Hellfire Warlock? I know in Vanilla they don't really have much PrC support but Idk if they've been changed here.

Nope, those are it, unfortunately. You'll have to choose between epic dodge and eldritch master I'm afraid.

That exactly happened to me. I did my DsM build because I like very much the Warlock mechanics. But, I must admit that now I enjoy much more the stealthy aspects of the char.Hopea wrote:The more I play this the more I am finding myself liking the stealth aspects of the build. True. Those are all you have. But enough IMO.chad878262 wrote:Nope, those are it, unfortunately
Not exactly. You can qualify for Epic Dodge if going full SD. But the build could be weaker (not completely sure about this point because I have never tried it, but is what the common sense tells me).Hopea wrote:Too bad I can't fit in Epic Dodge without losing Eldritch Master (or Shadowdancer).
True again.chad878262 wrote:You'll have to choose between epic dodge and eldritch master I'm afraid.
I think it's much better to go for Eldritch Master. The combo of hitting from HiPS plus Vitriolic Blast with Hideows Blow is amazing. The time you reach the level in which you have these you will notice a big difference from the previous level. Add Eldritch Master and it will be even better. In adition, I think you will lose a lot if going for Epic Dodge, either CL and invocations.

True, I had not noticed Shadowdancer giving Defensive Roll (but I had spotted Improved Evasion).
That said, going Shadowdancer 10 would mean losing 7 levels of Warlock which would leave me at 16 (20 with Practiced) Invoker levels. Maybe if it progressed Sneak Attack, but it does not.
I might make a separate full sneak character later on, but this is good as it is.
