Just because some parents are s*** at raising their kids doesn't mean standards have to drop elsewhere.

If anything, it's proof why many people can't be trusted to handle adult situations in RP with an appropriate level of maturity. Which is the crux of the issue in my opinion, not protecting minors (of which few probably even play this game).
