Way to transfer BG haks to Original Campaign?

Hey Everyone,

Is there a simple way to recreate all of the BG downloaded Hak content for the Original Campaign? Items appearances, classes, etc....?

The OC isn't... that bad! I mean. It has some fun characters. Like Sand! Sand's great.

But yeah, of the bunch I'd only really replay Mask of the Betrayer.


As for transferring the haks to the OC? It's not easy. You have to open each and every module in the toolset and apply all the haks to them. It's a pain in the ass.

For BG, instead of Sand we have Selengil.

Spoiler-ish rant.
Hidden: show
NWN 2 OC is one of the most generic fantasy stories out there and in best bioware-like fashion, nothing you do matters at all.

Everyone is as bland and as generic as possible. There is no personality to most of the characters.

You are railroaded pretty much from the start into babysitting all of your companions and they stick by you no matter how much of an ass you are (well, save for the final battle I guess)

The only two companions i could think of that had some semblance of character and personality were Ammon Jerro and the gith.

The main antagonist, the Shadow King and his backstory was actually pretty good. It had a few clever little twists that made him look more believable and not generic evil, but in the end it didn't amount to much but a lackluster final battle.

P.S.: Sand was that generic scowling elven wizard, right?
@OP - better play MotB, skip OC.

Ok, so is there anyway to rename the Hak files and move them into the NWN2 folder which would suffice to work in the OC......OR NOT?

Enter the nwn2 nexus, find the interesting content and unpack it to Override in your game installation folder.

Which content exactly do you want to see in OC? New classes & spells? Most of new abilities won't work without scripts, that I don't think you can freely have anyways.

No, really just interested in the community content, but I don't want to have go through all of the NWN2, have to sort and then sift, when there might be an easier way with the files I have already taken the time to download through the BGTSCC portal.

I LOVED the Original Campaign of Never Winter Nights 2 and can't STAND mask of the betrayer... Never understood nor will I understand the hatred for it, it seems moronic to me.

OC Epic - I ended up the Knight-Commander

The other...dark, overly graphic, violent and without continuity from the first.

Ended up as a soul-sucking..meh
