A man dressed in thick-weaved clothing, blue-green of color like fresh morning seas, could be seen posting to the public notice board. Days later, as he busied himself within the Gate, again, he posts to the board.
Those that take interest and read what is posted there, would see two post bills, in similar handwriting. They are not signed.
Peoples of Baldur's Gate~
Have you placed no object honoring the Water Lord, they that are called Istishia in this common tongue? A water wanderer has traveled to this city and sought such an example, any example...but seen none.
Shall it be that there is truly none? And more so, nothing upon the Sword Coast?
Istishia, the Water Lord...he that offers purification through cleansing...does none know his strength, or are guided by faith, the atmosphere in which life is born?
Such hidden treasure need not be guarded.
These bill posts seem to last upon the board for some time.[/color]
A priest, once well seen within the city known as Brother Gastian, squire of the Radiant Heart has returned from the north.
His hand runs through his short cropped hair as he tends and gathers the youth of the homeless camps. Encouraging words are given and the priest, in his plain brown robes, with hands flinging aside, clears the streets of travellers.
To one group of youths he speaks and following, they pull over their heads the shirts they wear and setting them in a pile. The other group mills about before he brings both together, speaking shortly about rules and penalties.
Producing a ball of leather he looks back and forth, barking orders for players into their respective places. His head swivels to and fro, examining each team before raising his hand with the ball high. Eyes are glued before suddenly it drops from his grasp into that of a shirted, dirt faced boy.
Back and forth goes the game, ball hurled around the streets, bodies smashing together. Bruised ribs and bruised egos are todays menu as the priest keeps the game going for as long as he can.
The Skins are up 2-1 after an entire candle is done burning, the priest himself taking off his shirt and running along with the youths. Words of encouragement he yells to The Shirts and soon enough the game is tied.
Pushing adults out of the way, Gastian works hard as referee, encouraging then penalizing the teams tactics as the game draws ever closer to the end. The heavy leather ball is thrown back and forth many times until at last a hand is thrown up.
On one side come cheers and jubilation, the other, brooding and words of revenge. To the latter Gastian sets his hand on the youths shoulder, speaking "Losing a game is nothing. I have seen far worse in a battle of few men. And they never stood to congratulate their opponents."
Several souls who found themselves wandering or loitering in the Docks late last eve' would be heard shouting out loudly.
Two distinct cries bearing masculine voices, calling out in short succession and alarm that a pickpocket was on the loose.
The two men, the first being a fisherman wearing green hide armor and perched on the northernmost pier, and the second a man in a jaunty looking hat wearing a backpack, would seem no lighter of coin for all their cries...
... but deft hands from a hidden and shadowy form most certainly did attempt to deprive them of such.
A woman in lavender leathers with blonde-streaked hair tied of to the side of head, however, did not fare so fortunate as the males whose pockets were perused before hers. And as she jogged steadily through the darkened streets, she may or may not have felt her purse grow somewhat lighter...

Three Templars, one female and two male, with softly billowing golden cloaks can be seen disappearing into the Pathfinder’s Hall; orders in the form of rolled scrolls with yellow ribbons are handed over to Stewardess Telia Santraeger.
The holy knights look as if they begin to make themselves comfortable in certain areas of the building, moving into positions to stand watch, much like a silent but vigilant statue.
In the small hours of night fall, two elves can be seen departing the temple of mystery. In their care, a rabbit and a woven basket of reeds.
Few might see the contents of the basket as the moon elf flipped the lid open, depositing several rats along the cobbled stone street. She spends a great deal of time stroking their heads before heaving a door into the sewer ways open. The rats are sent scurrying into the night, while the moon and sun elf watch.
The two speak quietly under the moon and stars for quite some time, with one of their voices sounding upset. The pair depart to their respective worships. The sun elf, to the temple of Mystra, and the moon elf to the woods outside the Gate.
As farmers flock to the eastern farmlands after hearing about a cure for their animals. A young halfling healer is seen. She seems to be overseeing the recovery of the animals, making sure they are all getting treated, recovering properly and provideing continual care for the animals not yet treated with the cure. Many would reconise this healer as Wendy and aside from the brief times when she goes to the temple of Ilmater to rest, she has not moved from the farmlands, determined to stay there until the affliction affecting the animals has been banished.

Excitement around the docks, new ships arriving, goods loaded in an out. Trade is continuing as usual. Some observed little drawings of an 'Eye' on the walls, crude and made with small inexperienced hands.
The Helm and Cloak shared in excitement of trade, as a group spoke in a booth for deals. The word 'salt' might have been overheard.

Rumors spread about the odd behavior of the kobolds and Bladlings that dwell in the Hill Top ruins. Something scared them out of the ruins in droves. It is said a party of adventurers was there to cut them down as the fled, then proceeded into the ruins.
Some claim they discovered drow and driders drown in the depths, claiming the caves as their own....but who really knows.....rumors being rumors and all.
Michael, Rain Dog, and Wren are briefly seen in the Gate after a few days travel, still on a northern road. Michael himself enters the Pathfinder's Hall once the trio have reached the city proper. After a brief visit therein, the three are north bound once more.

Luke Darius - Clansman of House Darius, Noble of Baldur's Gate
One of the local priestesses of Mystra, a blue-and-white robed elf, was suddenly seen to leave the city of Baldur's Gate yesterday and head north alongside two other elves after speaking with them in the public square for some time. Anyone overhearing the conversation would have noticed the repeated mention of the word 'orcs'. She still has not returned to the city.
In the middle of the night, an unmarked and ordinary looking crate is dropped off in front of the Thayan Enclave. If one was to peep inside it they would see an assortment of wigs of various designs filling it.
