I managed to log in and reset the server. Judging by its sluggishness in coming back up, it looks like the problem is with the host, not the server.

It looks like it is indeed a host issue and we might be on the old drill re DDOS; I will keep checking but we might have to wait things out for a few hours!

We will keep you as updated as we can.

The server is back up, but not responsive as of yet.

So we should continually spam reconnect until we get in?

It looks like it definitely IS something that we have to wait it.

If you see the server up then its probably good to try and log on. But if you have troubles connecting, stop, as there are probably still issues.

We're being DDOS attacked, most likely. Several other servers in the community are reporting similar issues.

Just try your best to enjoy the game, and we'll try our best to keep it stable. But do take breaks if you're finding yourself getting frustrated by it.

Is there any way to increase the number of players allowed on the server? I've been trying to log on for the last hour but it's full.

Probably the best 'problem' a server can have.

usually even when full if you keep clicking you can get in within a few tries...if you are consistent. :)

We can adjust the player population levels, but we are somewhat limited by our hardware. The more players in game the more stress it puts on the server, which creates lag and connectivity issues for everyone. We've found that 75 is near our upper limit.

We could try to boost it to 78 or 80, but I worry that with the new updates already generating a little bit of an extra drain on our server resources, it might make the game unplayable for some people. So I probably won't do so unless we have a lot of people struggling to get in.
