We've already tried IP changes, paying more for DDOS protection...

Neither works long term.

DDoS protection doesn't really work with a play server. It works well for websites as latency isn't really an issue there but us?

For IP changes, we'd need to keep it hidden, but that would need some way to ensure the idiot doesn't get the IP which is nary impossible.

So are we being attacked at this moment? Should I just wait? I'm not sure I wan't my fiancee to have her first rp and nwn2 experience being a bad one. Ya dig?

I don't -think- we are being ddos'd, the server has rebooted twice in the last hour or two but I was able to log back in after and it seemed normal. Didn't feel like a ddos, just the server a bit trippy?

The timing of the attacks seem to point to an American timezone for the perp, although they might just be a really late riser...

I just signed in for the first time in a while, but Mystra doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Couldn't get out of the Nexus.

For me the server just times out. At least it gave me the chance to finally fill out my first Character Biography after just 3 years or so on the server. :lol:
