Aslyferund Elven Chain missing Mithral effects

Hello,

i found the armor Aslyferund Elven Chain two days ago. In it´s description and under special properties is Mithral noted. But the Mithral effect isnt working. Its missing reduced weight, reduced armor penality and improved max. Dex.

Can someone help me with that item?

pretty sure this is a stock item from the OC, probably was just left as is when put in the loot table.

And there it also had Mithral as special property but not changed stats through mithral material.

Can a DM add the actual Mithral changes to it?

Note: the comments below are my opinions only and not an official ruling by the team. I have therefore opened a request ticket for this with the DM/ADM group.

I had a look at this on the client earlier and it would actually be easier to go the other way.

Start with Mithral Chain Shirt (base item) and then add the other properties. Unfortunately our item editing tool does not permit us to place racial prohibitions on items (ie. Usable by Elf & Half-Elf Only).

So if a DM were to do this for you, you might have to be willing to have said item marked as plot & undroppable so it could not be traded away.

Either that or a DM would have to make a proper version in the toolset and bring it into game and exchange, which is a rather irksome process.

Thanks for your offer to create a mithral chain in game. Unfortunatly my toon cant do anything with it if it´s personal bound and not drop- or sellable. Would be a waste.
