Re: The Real Adventure Party #2
I initially assumed they were full time adventurers. I really like the name The Saturday Knights so it was largely from trying to justify it. But hey, it fits.
I think it might help if we had a plan for what comes after permadeath. We could hash out a theme group and stage the characters. Then when we do finally get eaten by a dragon we have something to do other than stand around the Fugue wondering why we ever agreed to this.

Re: The Real Adventure Party #2
Perma death is good. I used to play a couple different perma death servers and enjoyed them quite a bit in geoup play and solo dying. Once I was with a group of gnomes and dwarves who left on an epic journey from the Skyrim mountains to go to King's Landing the human settlement at the foot of the Earthspurs. Along the way we braved goblin hordes and frost giants on our level 1 and 2 toons. We had just made it past Bullroarer's inn in relatively safe terrian of the mountains when a drow's electric trap wiped us all out (PvP). We were a tad bit sad but rerolling characters is a fun part of the game. After that we were all about a particular half-orc tribe.
As for a group name it will come to us.
Is Saturday a forgotten realms kosher word or do they have their own words for days of the week?

In days of old, when knights were bold, and ladies weren't invented...
I'm always a naysayer, but the characters are not Knights and they're not around IC only on a Saturday, so I think the name is wrong on two fronts; which is pretty good going in two words.
Perhaps we should wait a bit and see what happens.
There was a young feller from Zhent, whose sword was incredibly bent...

Sword Coast Cartography and Extermination
One word...
Awesome!!!
I love this name. and it can be changed to fill the best most amazing thing we have done up to that point. ie. Sword Coast Orc Slayers and Royal Treasure Repossession Group.
I am not sure, but a group wipe might be pretty tough as we get more levels. so by the time we get invested the likelihood of having to reroll would decrease. after that it would have to be something someone does that is very dumb to get perma-death from a DM i would figure. but

Or it would have been if we were recovering drug addicts. But I like the latest idea, just a little too long... Maybe you could make it into a 3 or 4 letter acronym? Soubar Extermination And Mapping (SEAM) - not great, but you get the idea.aaron22 wrote:and btw... the best one that i posted was not Saturday Knights but The Cold Sweat Quintet.
@Neginifinity I presume you're a fan of the Stainless Steel rat books! Moi Aussi. But we don't have no Darksteel!

Saturday would be better for me. I can do Sunday, but Saturday would be better.

Re: The Real Adventure Party #2
I think Joules would be perfectly fine with a technical Cartography and Extermination type name.

Re: The Real Adventure Party #2
from what we have seen of joules so far. I would think Soubar Extermination and Mapping would come from his brain and would be defended as the only name that truly makes any sense. but I have only met him once.

Gonn shows the rest of the group a note he has received. "This was delivered to me by a street urchin", he states.

"It seems to be from our employer. Shall we meet in Soubar and travel there together? I hear the area can be dangerous".If you wish to collect on our agreement, meet me in Corm Orp once you are finished. Should you be accosted by the Outriders, show them this note.
