The Ilmateri have begun distributing more food than normal, offering dozens more meals a day either through the kitchen of the main temple, or to the most needy of the East Gate afflicted by post war distress.

In particular, Brother Sigma is supplied with meals and healing supplies to take into the depths for the homeless populations there.

When questioned, the priests who distribute the food in temple or outside of it will speak of it being the gift of Ilmater, pure with his compassion, born of the faith and prayer of the Adorned.

Peccator wrote:During her time in the sewers, Alesea would have noticed Brother Sigma and approached the Ilmateri. She inquires about supplying a steadier stream of food and healing supplies through him to the ones he's chosen to live among on behalf of the Church of Lathander.
Alesea's inquiry was met with a fond brotherly gaze by the young man who's pale face was smudged with shades of sewer-grime,
"Dear lady, there is one who provides - and no far seeing telescope can visualize the coastline of his shoreless abundance. We have food you do not know about.
But may your compassion be rewarded, for truly, no good nor any evil has ever gone unnoticed - upon the earth or beneath it, even in tunnels and times as dark as these."

After some hours, Two paladins are seen knocking on Aello's shop, a couple minutes pass and shouts are heard from the inside, those who were nearby could hear mentions of a broken mirror and bad luck, not much longer than that all the lights of the house fade and the paladins leave the front of the shop. one of them recites a little prayer before leaving.

Peccator wrote:The Dawnbringer smiles warmly when he relays this information, gladness etching through the lingering weariness of her countenance. "Thank you for your kind words, Brother. The Light shines in the Darkness; the Darkness cannot overcome it. It's good beyond measure to know that needs are being seen to here - that the Light of kindness and aid is brought among these people." She lowers her voice slightly. "Is the one who provides an anonymous benefactor?"
Sigma himself seems well pleased for the company of the Dawnbringer and much joy has he on account of the noble heart of the maiden and her good charity. He takes to himself a bowl of water and purifies it by prayer. Rinsing his hands for the distribution of the bread, he answers; "Good Sister, this bread is surely the gift of Ilmater. Pure with his compassion, born of the faith and prayer of the Adorned.

Yet those who eat of this bread will hunger again, dear lady. Therefore our service endures even as The Lord on the Rack has endured all things for our sake.

I ... cannot compel you to further service than you have rendered already - but I am grateful for what you have done, and for your regard of the destitution of these poor. I only pray that the Light you speak of abide with us and keep us from evil even after you yourself depart."

The young tactician and knight, Aaron Lyonaler can be seen leaving Pathfinder Hall a couple of days past. He seems fully supplied and determined as he makes his way towards the sewers in the Eastern District.

Aaron would be seen, now filthy, smelly, and disheveled, returning to the surface. He would make his way to collect some water and enter to the alley next to Pathfinder Hall, venturing back out of the alley slightly more clean then how he entered. The Knight would enter Pathfinder Hall and not be seen leaving for a day or so, once again clean and cheerful.

Some citizen talk of a gnome heading into the sewer system of the city from either Sorcerous Dundries or Elfsong Tavern over the past few days. The also talk of echoes of explosions, roar of animals, screams and other ghastly noices coming from the drainage.

An unfamiliar priest has begun entering the sewers periodically. Identifying himself as Doctor Halsey Hayes he claims no affiliation to any the relief efforts within the city, if pressed he would speak of association with the Church of Oghma.

His actions do not seem to come from good will. He only holds interest within the children and families that name the sewers home, ignoring all adults but those in dire need. His bribes of medical care, coin, or food comes at a cost, before anything is handed over the children are required to go through a thorough examination. Their names, gender, ages, heights (measured with a tape), dental health, number of living parents or caregiver, siblings are recorded in a notebook, as with the ability and time (measured by a small hour glass) to answer a series of cognitive questions, and short physical tests. His survey may lead many to be suspicious of him, if asked of the purpose the doctor would explain it is in his interest to monitor the well-being of the youth in the sewer.

As a side note he offers a small bounty on any rats captured for him.

Those traveling in and about the farms near Baldur's Gate may grow accustomed to seeing a gnome wandering about, hawking his wares. That may sound rather mundane, but this gnome might stand out more than others.

Wizzelbert Cranksproket, as he readily introduces himself, is a transplant from Lantan, having just returned from a year (or was it two?) on the Trader's Road toward Teziir and point further. Normally dressed in colorful attire, including a bright red sash and too-tall top hat, he tends to stand out in a crowd. He speaks quickly and sells quicker. His latest offering includes the "Wizzelbert's Whirligig Sheltifier", a quick-set tent. He has sold a handful to passing adventurers.

Friendly and loquacious, it is also rumored that he may have hired out a band or two of adventurers of late for one task or another, and may yet have further work for the budding adventuring band.

A local vigilante group seems to be growing in number. This group which is rumored to be the same one that is responsible for the beating of a dock work was seen leaving Lucky Aello's tailor shop in some haste. It is said that he has been complaining about a mirror the group vandalized and the attached bad luck that comes with it's breaking. A great miss fortune indeed for a man named Lucky. The group was latter seen entering the temple of the Ilmateri in the eastern gate district. There seems to be little rumor of what transpired inside. It is however known that the group which had by now increased to a small mob were seen entering the Blushing Mermaid Tavern. Inside there was said to be a large bar fight and it is rumored that a local man may possibly have been abducted by the vigilantes.
