[FAI] A helmet, sword and shield auction

Klait is seen setting up a table inside the FAI, on top of it there are three items: a beautiful scimitar, a well-made helmet and a high quality light shield.
He announces the auction for these three items, he also announces that he accepts trades should they be acceptable.


Dervish Sword : Dex +2, EB +2, Bonus feat : Whirlwind attack
Duelist's Ankle : AC +3 (deflection), CHA +3 SOLD
Light shield of Flake : AC +4, Light low (10m) white.

*A bald, bearded young cleric of Lathander approaches and asks after the helmet for sale by the knight of Everwatch.*

"That headpiece is beautiful beyond compare, sir knight. I should very much like to keep it within the ranks of the goodly clergy. I have been given some small means to procure items and wish to make an offer on it. Would twenty-five bags ensure it dost not fall into the wrong hands?"

*The enrobed Kellan Armstrong awaits the knight's response patiently, hands folded penitently in front of him.*

The knight ponders for a bit, and replies "Don't you think that's a bit too low for such an beautiful helmet ?"

*I fear I am new to these lands and in truth I am no merchant sir. If you have a price in mind then please make it plain that I can either meet it or else waste no more of your time.*

"I would think, on atleast a hundred and fifty bags" the knight answers...

[finneas]

"I do not have have such a sum nor would I pay it even if I did. To ask such a price you must surely be making sport of me sir. I expected more from one such as yourself. I did not think to be taken advantage of so quickly despite being new to these lands. The enchantments are minor dweomers at best."

*The priest bows his head respectfully and takes his leave, disappointment evident on his features rather than anger.*

The paladin announces the helmet has been sold...

*A strangely-muscular halfling donning an antler-horned helm approaches excitedly. Upon seeing the Dervish-Scimitar he smiles broadly, jumps up and down, and inquires*

"Oooooooooh... nice sword! Can Paws have it!? Paws likes the idea of spinning wildly and hewing gobbos. Yep-yep! Unnnnnnnnnfortunately Paws does not have coin. Paws has uhm... some gems... some halberds.... ugh... maybe something else that will interest you. You want to trade!? Paws can maybe barter! But coin... Paws has no coin. Nope. Buuuut if you wanted coin, how much would it cost!? Paws is not good at auctions. Nope."
