assuming you mean jack sparrow and not the billy joel song, i have not payed that much attention to those movies to know if he would be similar, but i doubt it. i think she fits into what we want/need. she will be more bold fighter than sneaky thief. it just has to start somewhere and it will be a little touch and go at first.

Right, Captain Jack Sparrow. But as far as the hook I just thought we had all heard of the various problems going on in Baldur's gate and decided to do something about it.(and maybe make some coin in the process

We kind of knew each other by repuation/new arrivals and we meet up at that Elfsong to discuss it.

That's fine. I have you read the entire thread and that this will be a 1st level, roleplaying adventure party (D&D style) We could use another fighter (You'll be the last member of the party)

I am a player here and have a PC who could provide a small RP hook in line with your thinking to get you rolling, if you want that kind of initiative. I am fairly new to server and am playing another PC in adventure group 1 and like these ideas so would be happy to provide the same support to get your group going.

Also the other adventure groups were informed DMs might try and get on to spice things up for them so you may wish to nudge in that direction too.

I think you were missing my point perhaps. I did not aim to join the party (you have your numbers and the time is a little late for me at finish) But I hoped to provide a rationale for a first gathering and essentially provide a player quest to get you started. This is a format used in the other adventure groups recently started and I had planned to put something back into the system as it were. It encourages a little RP which seems to be gaining popularity and hopefully enhances rp till a dm can pick up a story line.

It seemed to me like you wanted to join our party because logically how would you know us in-character to be able to do that, so that why I mentioned that we were full.
