Try with the raw warlock blast, with no modifications. It bypasses SR.

this works only when you reach 10d6 eldritch blast at least then only the unmodified blast was used to bypass SR ( not sure if it still that way )

That map in the OP is pretty handy. A few spots are confusing, though, as things don't really line up the way they appear to on the map. It might be a good idea to do color coded area transition dots to show where you'll actually appear on the adjacent map.

I must be getting really old, but can someone post a link so I can see the actual map of the Underdark Begginer Guide (now with map) please? I've looked at all three pages here and can't see an actual map anywhere. There are references elsewhere to goblin tunnels, basilisk tunnels etc to complete quests, but I have no idea where they are at all. At the moment, I'm running about Tunnelrun and I need somewhere else to explore.

Rockrun and the Upperdark areas were added much later and you have "to map" it yourself.

Off the top of my head, the mines in Southern S'shamath are around the center of the place (could be wrong), but there's lava right in front of the entrances, which look like cave entrances.

I think the lava shows up on the map. >_>
