Hey, in the warlock lore thread there was a discussion in regards to warlock pacts. I brought up the idea of playing a warlock who has a pact with an entity from the far realm. While this idea was implemented in the ever so popular 4th edition, the far realm does exist in 3.5e (much less detailed but i think its more interesting that way) also it does contain powerful entities. So I would argue it's not out of the realm of possibility for someone to draw power from them (Of course you would likely go insane but that's half of the fun ).
If you do not want this sort of pact could you provide a list of acceptable ways that a warlock could gain it's abilities?
If you require a source for any info I will provide some pdf
Thanks for reading.

Fair enough, do I just submit the bio to the whole DM team? Or post it in the bio section of the forum?

Submit the biography via private message to theAssociate DMandDMgroups. That way it covers the whole team so one of us can put it up for review.
We will usually respond within a week of the biography being submitted, though occasionally we may be delayed and we encourage you to ask us on the status of the biography if a week has passed without a reply from one of us.
