Background: Born in Ched Nasad in the small Drow house M'lezziir, he was always a black sheep in the house and he never knew why until much later. His childhood was rather typical for a drow, although House M'lezziir had always been a house full of mages so he was taught some basic arcane lore. When he starting growing older strange features began to develop and that's when he began to be shunned and looked down upon, they would always make him do deliveries for the house to keep him away.
During his early years as a young adult, one delivery changed him for the rest of his life. He was to deliver a tome to a conjurer, he was intrigued by the cover and decided to read it even though he was specifically told not to. After reading a random passage an Imp appeared and began to taunt him, calling him a "thin blood", Vorn was confused with his taunts and inquiries what he meant. The imp looked surprised that he was never told about what happened to his great grandmother. So the imp began to share the dark secret of his house.
Apparently a summoning ritual was attempted by the houses priestess ' s and sorcerer, they wanted to enslave a baatezu and force it to give them great power. Well the sorcerer missed a small but vital step and the devil was not bound by them. The sorcerer began to try and unsummon it but before he finished it grabbed one of the priestess ' s and dragged her back to the Hells with him. She ended up being returned months later, pregnant. This was Vorn grandfather, those involved in the ritual swore to keep it secret and allowed the child to be born to then kill it. When it was born it looked no different from any other Drow, so the plan was called off.
So he now knew why his family despised him so much, he is the only direct relative of his grandfather left. The imp stated he has great power in his blood and he just needs guidance to unlock it, but in order for him to learn he had to accept an agreement. The agreement was not as bad as other pacts warlocks had to sign. It promised grant him a station in the Hells, great warlock powers and guidance in exchange for his and 3 other souls from his House, To adopt Baalzebul as his Patron, to serve as an agent of his in the underdark and willing allow him to occasionally "lend" his body though possession to Baalzebul and his servants.
He quickly agreed to it as he felt Llolth and his house had done nothing for him. He returned to the house without delivering the tome and allowed himself to be possessed. While possessed he manged to convince three of the more foolish house members to sign their souls away for terrible pacts. After the agreed he vaporized them with his new found ability the eldrich blast, thus claiming their souls. He was ran out of his house and city, he didn't know where to go, so he spent a few years wandering around the underdark and eventually ended up in Sshamath a city he regularly delivered to.
The devil he is in contact with, occasionally gives him tasks such as assassinations, getting others to sign pacts, summoning certain infernal entities and sacrifices. Usually after such tasks is when he would be "taught" new abilities (through possession). After the tenth soul he gained for his Patron he was shown the secrets of Hellfire. It was a painful and draining lesson, but it made him much more powerful.
after arriving in Sshamath he was recommended to the school of Invocation and Evocation and he slowly gained more reputation. Since arriving the possessions occur less frequently but he has been given more and more jobs to do.
He usually can be found in the Spiders kiss in, spending time with a certain Tiefling women that hangs around the inn.
Goals: Advance in the school of Invocation, Continue to fulfill his infernal agreement, weaken enemy religions, Create a per meant or long lasting portal connecting the Hells to the material plane
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: I was thinking there would be some RP conflict between him and the drow houses. Also his rampant summoning could end up disastrous. More will come as I play him and interact with other players
