Is it worth picking up for heavy armor melee fighters on the server considering it's ln my DR3?

It doesn't stack with any other form of DR; plus if you get lucky with Mithril Plate you have a worthless Feat. OTOH if you have <10 Dex and won't be getting any DR from other means then it's a reasonable Feat if you have Feats to spare.

Mithral Full Plate is a medium armour, Thorsson means, so it will not work with the feat (and MFP is one of the most sought-after armours).

Adamantine Full Plate has the same properties without needing a feat (innate 3/- DR), and I know of one epic Tower shield with such properties as well (+4 AC, DR 3/-)

I guess I should ask, is the DR/3 really worth it on a fighter build?
Also does Armor Specialization Medium DR work with MFP?

AFAIK, you cannot pick Medium Armor Specialisation as a feat.

I am of the opinion that while 3/- DR doesn't seem like much, over 10 hits it has saved you 30 points of damage and that might just save your life. It all adds up in the end.

You can pick medium armor specialization. It actually seems to help a lot. Especially against weapons with less damage but more of it, like arrows.

It should. It works with regular breastplate.
