So I have been absent for much of the new content roll out, and my searching has been semi in vain. I'm hoping I may be able to come back in some context over the next few months, and I have questions...
1) With the new lore breakdown, it seems as though everyone's initial Lore skill has become Lore:arcana, and I now have an illegal character whose lore doesn't meet the PRC's specific lore type. Does this mean a forced RCR?
2) What Lore skill identifies items now?
3) Does Lore ('s) now have any other functions?
4) What happens to those of us who RCR'd characters when the new content started coming in but before the decision to allow 100% RCR was made? (if I'd only waited a week...)
5) The warlock overhaul never went in? or is still in pipeline?
Cheers

Lore Breakdown & catching up
I never make mistakes…I thought I did once; but I was wrong.

Re: Lore Breakdown & catching up
1. If you have all the levels in it you wanted to take, there's no need. If you need to take more levels in that class, on the other hand, you will need to RCR it to do so.illithid wrote:So I have been absent for much of the new content roll out, and my searching has been semi in vain. 2. Lore: Arcana
3. No mechanical use, currently. The other Lore/Knowledge skills are going to have the best "bang" for their buck in interactions with DMs.
4. Probably not since there's likely dozens of other people in the same boat. That said, shoot a message to the DM team for a definitive answer, this is their jurisdiction.
5. You'll have to be more clear about what "overhaul" you mean but I don't think there's been many changes to Warlock since I started (about 2013).
