Denizens of the Underdark [Of Great and No Renown]

Following the trend of similar forums, this is a place to present all your characters (active or retired) who belong to the Underdark.

I decided to remove the requirement of our characters having achieved great renown in order to be listed. There are less players in the Underdark than on the Surface, so I thought this would be an effective way to network with all existing characters - significant and insignificant. A place to introduce new characters as well as old, and guide us in networking our RP together.

So just a brief summary about who they are as a character and who they are to S'shamath. Throw in a hook for RP and a link to the related character profile if you like.

As they are posted, I'll list our characters on this original post in alphabetical order.

MEET THE DENIZENS OF THE UNDERDARK ...

Drail (Darradarljod)
a half-drow male. Born and raised among S'shamath's slums. A regular of the Gloura's Wings and something of a drunk and thief by reputation. Rumored to be a ranked Seeker of the Cult of Ghaunadaur. Drail is the Silent Member of the two representatives of the Cult of Ghaunadaur in S'shamath's recently assembled bureaucratic council.

Galuril Wefer (Lanzlo)
Drow follower and warlock of Lolth. Came to Sshamath to increase his personal power. Slightly crazy, even by drow standards. Has taken a liking to dealing out death and destruction. Occasionally found drinking at the Gloura's Wings, or hunting down escaped slaves for fun.

Jormax (Darradarljod)
a fish-lipped skin-head drow sorcerer from Menzoberranzan of no great power nor current reputation. He has been lured to S'shamath by the possibility of achieving political clout in the culture of male arcanist supremacy. Jormax seems to be having trouble adjusting to the "liberated" culture, however, after so long under subjugation to the Temple of Lolth.

L' Beldroin (Blackman D)
-female drow, High Necromancer in the School of Necromancy. Instructor, crafter, military officer and now speaking member representative in the Bureaucracy for the school. Served under Amon and Val'feng during her raise to power and later took over Val'feng's positions in the school and in their allied guild after Val'feng's departure. Took up the nickname "L' Beldroin" after someone called her that for her excessive crafting habits.

Legewien Aloseven (Blackman D)
-female drow warlock of Lolth, deported to the nine hells for breach of infernal contract

Shadera Sshamath (Blackman D)
-female drow, kinslayer and assassin of Lolth who came to Sshamath with her sister (another player) from a Lolthite city after her house was overthrown. Was eventually taken in by Cazna who was the high priestess of house Sshamath after Shadera's sister died and made Shadera the house assassin. After Cazna's disappearance, Shadera killed anyone who came asking about Cazna (players and NPCs alike ) as per her departing request till they stopped coming and then lurked in the shadows till she was needed again.

Turok Tombstone (Darradarljod)
A harsh and lazy duergar fighter who's clan once made its living building labryinths for evil wizards. When he came to S'shamath it was because his clan was decimated in a failed raid of a drow slave caravan. Turok returned home to Gracklstug to take back his three wives from the rival who claimed them in his absence. He was never heard from again.

Urebril (ElderEye)
Also known as "the Dancing Priest"

Ilphrin

Ilphrin is a Half-Drow Warlock, He made a pact with an entity from the Far Realm. Piscaethces, an entity venerated by Aboleth. He always wanted to be a mage but his mixed blood kept him out of any respectable mage school and he does not have the proper blood to become a sorcerer. An old friend of his stole a tome from the local school on Warlocks and pacts, he shared this knowledge with Ilphrin and they began down the path to being Warlocks. His friend decided to contact a Devil, But Ilphrin refused to deal with one as he did not trust them one bit.

Wanting to go down a different path, the tome mentioned some sort of realm of Aberrations that occasionally bestows pacts. In his quest for power he had dealt with many Aberrations, specifically Aboliths. in order to gain the information he needed he had to preform many tasks for many different aberrations. Eventually he was given a name of an entity, how to contact it and where. The pact was strange, he was brought into the far realm itself but only for a couple seconds. The purpose of that was to taint him with the essence of the realm, the pact had only a couple conditions. Destroy the minds of enemy Drow and convince them to sacrifice themselves unto her, To act as a conduit of the realms taint in the material plane and to strengthen the connection between the two realms. He goes through phases of insanity due to the effect the Far Realm had on him.

Uelaereene Sai'zzel: Faehlil of the School of Invocation and Evocation. Young and naïve. Although is rumored that she hides more than what she shows. Cousin (or that is said) of Lilly and Lil'ly, although she is not much in contact with them. She was not born in Sshamath and where she comes from is not completely clear, as well as her life before coming to the city or who is the upper-power she made a pact with.

Lilly Sai'zzel: Original from a destroyed minor house of Menzoberranzan. She proudly calls herself "Chosen of Talos", as that is the God she worships. Merciless, calm util she gets angry and loyal to all who becomes her ally. How the Lloth yathrins allow her pressence is a mystery. She states that her Lord commanded her to aid the city of Sshamath. If the reason of the deity is to expand his domains to the city or if the reason is to make alliances between the drow pantheon, is a topic of debate within the walls of the taberns and the gossips of the marketplace, where she sometimes stands spreading the word of Talos to whoever wants to hear her. It's said that she has joined the Bregan D'aerthe files. She is the older sister of Lil'ly and cousin of Uelaereene.

Lil'ly Sai'zzel: Young sister of the talosian Lil'ly, she is the opposite to her, chaotic and unpredictable. She uses to wear a porcelain white mask and a red hood. She openly proclaims to worship Lloth, maybe because of the love-hate relationship (but very much more hate) with her sister. Some apprentices of the School of Mages, where she studies, say that something is broken in her head. The majority state that she is completely mad. But they also assure that she is extremely clever, manipulative and scheming. It's said that her mother, a mid-powerful faern and ruler of a minor house at Menzoberrnazan (and as the rumours said, as mad as her daughter), sent the sisters to Sshamath just before their house was destroyed so her favourite Lil'ly could continue studying magic. It's said too that this was the reason the Sai'zzel house was destroyed.

Iston:

Male drow faern who would be known as a mercenary working for Bregan D'aerthe. He tends to prefer the darkwoods over the other districts of S'shamath although he is rarely seen within the city. He seems to be most interested in making as much plak'la as possible and also seeks rare magical trinkets of all sorts, paying well for something that sparked his interest. Should one be interested to get in contact with him or Bregan D'aerthe, the tavern within the darkwood district would be a good place to look for Iston.

[Cretus]

Unen is a traveling drow mage, and has taken up residence inside Sshamath. Learning about the city, it's culture, and it's powers that be. You can usually find him in the central portion of the city near the Bazaar, and out near the entrance surveying the tunnels, and exploring.

[Aspect of Sorrow]

Vithsiris, a silver tongued masked heretic who dabbles in the political, emotional, and subtle intricacies plucks at the strings of puppet and master alike to stir trouble. A component of the Helvi'viir movement, he was twice sacrificed to Lolth, and thrice rejected, dipping fingers into matters typically unconcerned to others and granting access to distant lands for co-conspirators while acting upon intelligence and logistic orders. He currently seeks the company of two individuals whose insistence of the breathless living required further business to be conducted on planes unknown.

[Ravial]

Relolar Daevar is a masked drow of unnatural calmness. Wears dark chain shirt with black fittings, a dark mask covering his face most of the time. Said to be a mercenary type, his weapon of choice appears to be a rapier. He can be seen mostly in Central Sshamath and Darkwood district.
