This is what I assumed. Hodor started having his episode when Bran focused every bit of his attention on him. Bran was the reason Hodor went simple, though the vehicle for that may well have been showing Hodor the moment of his death, which actually wraps things up rather tidily. Either way, it seems clear that Bran does have some way of influencing the past somehow.Hawke wrote:But ask yourself this....
Did Hodor see his death because it was inevitable, or did Bran, projecting in the past, cause Hodor to go all simple, because of the future events that were occurring?
I mean... when Bran looks at past events, he is just a spectator... except when the King Walker decided to get in his face... and then again with Hodor as a child. Maybe they aren't just seeing what happened, but have the ability to influence past events.
Wrap your head around that.

Re: Hodor! (Moderator Edit: Game of Thrones Spoilers!)
In the Tower of Joy clip Bran called out to Eddard who seemed to hear something take that with the Hodor event and you wonder for book readers if Bran is the Bran the Builder mentioned in the past who helped build the Wall.
Bran the Builder was a legendary member of the First Men from the Age of Heroes, the founder of House Stark, and the first King in the North. Many famous structures are attributed to have been built under his direction, hence his nickname of "the Builder", including Winterfell and most famously the Wall, which according to legend, he raised with the aid of giants. Also according to legend, it is said he aided Durran with the construction of Storm's End.

I hate time travel stories.
Always so confusing, and convenient. Too convenient.

It was future foretelling with a fate alteration spell. It's from the World of Darkness, mage the ascension game. The spell was cast 10 or so years ago.

Nothing wrong with being gay and i dont know why the show would be gay? Its a tv show not a person, it therefore cannot be gay.
