Character Problem (Invalid Item Equipped)

Unread post by Winterborne »

Hi, I am not exactly sure what happened here, but I keep a handful of items on hand so that as I level I can equip something new right away. Last night I died and went to the Fugue, and when I was brought back to life, all my item level restrictions went away. I equipped a ring I had that I knew was supposed to be restricted to see if maybe it was just a GUI bug (restrictions still in effect but not showing the red-out for unusable items), and I decided to see if it would fix itself upon logging out.

When I logged out, I forgot to remove the ring first, and now I'm getting an error where I can't join because I'm using items that are level restricted.

Please help! Thanks.

How ironic that, in the 5 minutes Maecius logged on last night and disabled item level restrictions so that -my- bugged character could be fixed, another player has been caught in the net!
