You should maybe try using the Search function in NWN2DB.
Try these parameters:
Fighter - minimum level 12
Tempest - minimum level 5
Strength - minimum 23
And put BGTSCC in the Text Field (top left).
That'll get you a bunch of builds to have a look at, all of which will have good AB/damage and many of which have good AC (warning: some will be designed to work with Plate Armor, so don't just look at the naked AC). All designed for BGTSCC.

I already RCR'd into using Steve's build, but I'll look at that and see if there's anything better.Thorsson wrote:You should maybe try using the Search function in NWN2DB.

Thanks.
It was a fun year (I think). Bye.

fearknight, if you are still interested in Ranger/WM as your RP idea here is my build suggestion. Still gets decent AC (w/out Wands you'd be at 37, 39 w/ the +2 MBP). You give up the Tempest AC, AB as well, but you have outdoor HiPS, Ranger Spells which can give you +5 Natural Armor and +4 Deflection AC meaning you only really need to worry about dodge boots. In addition you gain 3 APR from perfect 2 weapon fighting and 2d6 +5 bonus damage against your favored enemies. By picking favored enemies that are immune to crit, you could mitigate the downside of the weapon master. Anyway, here is the build, if you're interested:

Re: Sorry, I came back with a ranger build.
But there are downsides to the Ranger build:
1. Those nice spells are very dispellable
2. You only have 39 AB, meaning less hits per round - and less crits
3. Even if not dispelled your AC is less than other builds
4. You're not very quiet, i.e. not a great sneaker. Plus a lot of areas are not "outdoors".
5. Although you have FEs, you don't have the 8 damage against everything that F12 gets with EWS/MWM, plus whatever the other 9 levels bring.
6. Some of those Kaedrin goodies are not given on BGTSCC, like Protective Ward (has to be taken as a Feat) or Epic Animal Companion.
