There's an announcing issue between the server host and Telia, but not all of the handoffs (chicago to buffalo NY) works when it drops to 314283. So it's neither your machine nor your ISP, it's the server's carrier.

In all seriousness though, will this issue change, then, when we change hosts? Not to speak ill of the host that's been carrying us all these years.

Thanks. It also depends on the host. The larger DCs with a plethora of carriers have multiple AS announcements and can potentially negate the route issue, sometimes older BGPs are still in play. Community BGPs are typically the worst offenders, not sure why Telia has this issue.

We're aiming for an arbitrary launch date of June 21, 2016.

But the date is flexible in both directions, and it'll depend on how complicated the process is, if we run into any trouble spots along the way, and so on.

We have the new host set up, now, however; we just have to transfer eight years of history from one host to the next, and then get it all working correctly.

if no, then i'll wait the ten days or so til the server is moved, and try and log on then

not sure i want to get into trying to port forward, as it's only bg i cant connect to. can still connect to other pws just fine

I'm trying to directly connect to the server but i get the same error "Server is not responding (time out)". Already tried to restart router, open ports, use DMZ, flush dns, etc. Anything else i can try?

Interesting, above all the game querying action is directly talking to nwserver on our end and received a response which means establishing a connection should have no trouble with the game client itself.
