Warlock bug
It appears the the dragonslayer casting progression is not granting blast dice for warlocks. My character chose warlock as his casting progression and either it is not granting the bonus blast dice as it should for the casting progression at odd levels. The amount displayed in the combat log is the same as is displayed on the character sheet. Both would be correct if the dragonslayer casting was not being factored.

Re: Warlock bug
Keep in mind that warlock gains blast dice every odd (2nd) level (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11) until 11th, when it changes to every 3rd level (14, 17, 20). In epics the blast dice reverts to every 2nd (even) level - 22, 24, 26 etc.
Now add to that the fact that Dragonslayer will advance your dice only for every 2 or 3 CL, wholly depending when you crossclassed from warlock, which means you might need to take 5 levels in Dragonslayer to get a single dice increase, eg. warlock 11/DS 5 would have 14 CL and 7d6 blast; warlock 11/DS 10 would still only have 7d6 blast because it only has 16 CL.
If none of these are your case and the dice aren't showing on your sheet, they will when you take your next level of warlock proper (it retrospectively corrects your blast dice).

Re: Warlock bug
Hmm, I did not know the warlock blast dice changed like that in the middle of leveling. I'll have to recalculate if it is not consistent with NWN2DB. Thank you for the information. Does Practiced Invoker increase blast dice or just CL regarding dispels?

Re: Warlock bug
Practiced Invoker gives you up to +4 warlock CL for your non-warlock class levels, just like all the other Practiced Spellcaster feats do. Blast dice will depend entirely on the level breakdown to which the +4 CL applies.
Post your current build level breakdown here and I can work out what your blast dice should be.

Warlock gains blast dice at levels:
1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30
At (warlock) level 20 you'll have 9d6 dice.

Understood. I guess this is not a bug then. Mods feel free to delete this thread.

Re: Warlock bug
This is wrong. Practiced Invoker gives 0 dice if you have 1 or less non-progression levels, 1d6 if you have 2 or 3 non progresison levels, and 2d6 if you have 4 or more. It works totally different than the other "Practiced" feats.Tsidkenu wrote:Practiced Invoker gives you up to +4 warlock CL for your non-warlock class levels, just like all the other Practiced Spellcaster feats do. Re: Warlock bug
Tsidkenu's description is correct.
Yours is also correct from levels 1-11 and 20-30, but it is different between 12-19, Prac Inv just adds +4CL and your blast dice are calculated on what your equivalent Warlock CL would be.
