Boris isn't a priest of Kossuth, just a zealot. But if you ask him nicely he might still sacrifice you as a burned offering.
That's where this thread was going right?

Teris is a druid of Kossuth and if your character is looking for a clergy of Kossuth, a druid may do well enough. Depending on your needs, there is a Temple to Kossuth on the same map as Gullykin and you could petition the DM team for a possible NPC interaction with the priests there.

But the four elemental gods ( Kossuth, Akadi, Grumbar, Istishia ) doesn't grant nature spells. They have no druids.

Where did you read that? Look up Kossuth for instance. It clearly states druids as followers.

Re: Any active priest of kossuth?
Faith and Pantheons 3.5 book. There's a complete nature deity list somewhere. The four aren't on the list.
My guess is that people in Faerun sometimes pray to two or more gods. They either have a main god or they have a main and give service to another they respect or fear. A commoner can pay to Chauntea, and also to Bane when his Banites shows up around the corner, to avoid trouble.
One of the druid jobs is to seek balance between the elements, not fully endorse one over the others. They worship their deity of nature, serve it, and sometimes pray to an elemental lord when that element is needed.

Did you look at p35, the entry on Kossuth and who are listed as worshippers? It does list druids.Maximvs wrote:Faith and Pantheons 3.5 book. There's a complete nature deity list somewhere. The four aren't on the list.

Re: Any active priest of kossuth?
Maximvs is right. The elemental deities, while having druid followers, are not considered to be gods that grant druidic powers according to at least 3rd edition FR sources. Though FR canon has been very wishy washy here.

NWN2, however, does include the elemental gods as nature deities, along with some other gods who aren't (like Leira). Due to this, I expect BG considers them a proper nature deity as far as druids are concerned, though that is a question that needs to be posed to the DMs.
The vast majority of Faerun people give worship to more or less all of the gods, as it's a polytheistic faith. Patrons don't represent singular, exclusive worship, but instead simply one god from the pantheon that is of particular significance to the daily life or beliefs of the individual or community. People still give worship and offerings to the other gods when dealing in those gods' affairs (praying to Umberlee when sailing, praying to Talona to ward off disease, praying to Ilmater to help endure suffering, praying to Bane to cause or protect one's self from fear, etc).
With regard to the topic, Tarina is a shaman with Kossuth as her patron. While she's not a dedicated priest, she has performed Kossuthian rites at times. This wouldn't really be public knowledge though, so I imagine isn't suitable for the OP's needs.

Yes. And not just sometimes.Maximvs wrote:My guess is that people in Faerun sometimes pray to two or more gods.

There is no 3.5 version or errata for Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide or Faiths and Pantheons that changes the nature deity list, nor any new Faerun book for 3.5 specifically that deals with that topic.GholaMan wrote:you should look at the 3.5 lore not the 3.0 lore
