Re: Euro 2016
Croatia was especially unfatigued all the game (and with 5 players missing). Spain seemed to be at a disadvantage there. The right side of the finals will be very interesting: Germany, Italy, Spain, France and England all there.
Croatia could make it to the Finals although only because the apparent favorites aren't on their side doesn't mean it will be easier.

Croatia has a shot at it...as long as their fans don't screw it up for them!!
While I watch that game during work, whenever I peered over to the screen, it looked like a slow ball friendly match...until a rushing attack. It seems very calm, which is kinda the typical controlling style of Spain, is it not, but Croatia didn't disappoint.

Re: Euro 2016
Completely true. Maaaaaaybe some changes in the usual initial team had to be made; Spain looked exhausted in the second part and we have excellent players. That, plus the failed penalty (why did they leave it to Ramos is something I don't understand), contributed to losing the match.Nyeleni wrote:Croatia was especially unfatigued all the game (and with 5 players missing). Woot! Go Iceland! Hehe, at the same time Hungary made a goal too against Portugal.
OMG Austria missed a penalty. Hehehe.

Nice goal indeed of CR7.
Wow that is going to be a Euro classic: Hungary against Portugal. 3:2 right now.
And Ronaldo has awoken 3:3. And Portugal on the right side too. Against England in the final eighth.

Wow, and here I thought that our football team is bad. We are first in the group. This is miracle.Nyeleni wrote:Nice goal indeed of CR7.

Well, yes, I wouldn't say that the Magyars are very good. The whole group is a bit weak. Portugal without Ronaldo is very mediocre. Austria has disappointed on every line. And Iceland just gives it all. England won't have it easy.
And Croatia against Portugal so far. Ouch. And Hungary against Belgium. I think the Magyars aren't even the favorites.

I have no idea honestly. I'm just suprised that we got this far.Nyeleni wrote:Well, yes, I wouldn't say that the Magyars are very good. The whole group is a bit weak. Re: Euro 2016
Portugal to the final. They've had some bad luck, but they're on the rise. Having ended up on the really easy path to the final and with Ronaldo in form is just setting them up for a repeat succesful Euro for Portugal, like the previous ones.
I hope for a Swedish miracle soon, I really don't want Belgium to end up on that side. It's a poor side, way too hyped up compared to how they play. Like how the English see England. Could be tense on the difficult side. All the big teams have shown lack of quality both offensively and defensively. It could go either way. Probably Germany gets out on top?
