down 141 est w/no lag beforehand had been up several hours so maybe a reset?

Not a reset it was definitely a crash with huge lag spikes before it.

Nah it was a DDoS strike. Sysop is onto it (was in the same event we were!)

Diagnosis is bad according to Sysop. Server might be unstable for a good while apparently, meaning we will either have to postpone or forum RP the sewer crawl.

I was just on my way in to say that I wont be able to hang on for the server to stabalize. I will send out a PM to the group to discuss so we don't clog this thread.

We have a technician looking at it right now. Hope to have it up again soon.

I know this isn't really how any of us wanted to spend our weekend, but jerks will be jerks, I suppose. We're looking into some ways to better mitigate against these attacks.
