BGTSCC TvTropes page?
Does anyone else think this might be a good idea? There are enough people that it's justified; I mean, they have a full Fan Works section, and this is clearly an... uh... thing, more than some guy's Harry Potter fic. It would probably attract people who click on links, I know I've found a few games that I ended buying on TvTropes.
Would it go under Video Game, or Web Original, or what?
EDIT: Trying to type it now. If anyone knows the date BGTSCC opened, I can't find that. The earliest post I could get with the forum search was April of 2009.

Re: BGTSCC TvTropes page?
This post got my attention as a TVTropes page helped in part to inspire my current character, Edmund.
Dumb is Good (but not Good is Dumb!)
Not sure I can quite envision the layout/sections for a BGTSSC page, but if there was one - I'd read it.

Are you saying that we should be gathering up TV Tropes that apply to BG and/or characters on BG? Sounds like a gargantuan task!

Would you be willing to get it started?
We'll also need to collect all of our external media into a thread somewhere.

This would be actually fun to read. But beware any links to TvTropes, for you won't be found for a few hours after venturing there.

Re: BGTSCC TvTropes page?
I decided to give it a go. It was fun...
Edmund Tellerin
Dumb is Good - A major inspiration for the character. He sees the world in fairly simple two shades - what Chauntea teaches and "Tomfoolery".
Ambiguous Disorder - His moderate intelligence and lack of eduction don't quite fully explain some of his awkwardness.
Bunny Ears Lawyer - For all his akwardness and self-doubt his is a devoted and skilled Cleric.
Let's Get Dangerous - Prefers to avoid violence, but on the Sword Coast that frequently isn't an option. When it isn't he'll do some suprising things to his enemies with that walking stick of his.
Butt Monkey - Less polite or friendly characters often offer snarky abuse and disrespect. Called Fat, stupid, a peasant. When he's around a group of adventurers one of them often finds time to make a joke at his expense.
Cowardly Lion - Monsters, the undead and all the horrors of the Coast frighten him. But if Chauntea's work goes through them then so does he.
Fat Best Friend - To Elmer. Maybe heading this direction with some other characters.
Took a Level in Badass - 29 levels so far in fact.
Undying Loyalty - To Chauntea. His wife and children. His dog. He's a loyal fellow.
Almighty Janitor - Spends most of his time picking herbs, raking the stables in Beregost, weeding the flowers at Chauntea's shrine and gardening for the Silver Roses. If a balor was to trod his flower beds it would get a quick trip back Abyss.
Beware the Nice Ones - See Let's Get Dangerous, Bunny Ears Lawyer, Cowardly Lion and Took a Level in Badess.
Call to Agricuture - A skilled, well traveled Cleric, he'd be more than content to settle down and tend a little farm in obscurity if Chauntea hadn't asked more of him.
Beserk Button - "Ya aint outta have hurt my El I tell ya..."
Big Eater - Almost sees it as a religious duty.
Badass Preacher - On his best days.
Fat Comic Relief - When his player is in the right frame of mind.
Good Shepherd - Desperately wants to be this for the common people of the Sword Coast.
The Nice Guy - Doesn't have mean bone in his body.
Combat Medic - He'll switch from Flurry of Blows into Combat Casting to drop a Mass Heal on his fellows before slipping back into Flurry to continue thumping away.
The Hero - His part in BGTSSC from his players point of view.
