So in other words, D&D got it wrong with armour check penalties!

Or does that guy just have Epic Heavy Armour optimisation?

I own a full plate iron armor in RL, and I have no problem doing stuff with it on.

It's harder to do stuff tho when you put the chainmail underneat, which weights a lot.

A bit more exciting.

Every human being not going to the extreme limit is the servant or the enemy of man and the accomplice of a nameless obscenity.

Not to mention any cloth you might wear as padding.

Armor went through many changes between about 900 and 1500 in Europe. During the height of armor when they wore padded cloth, leather, mail, and plate a truly athletic knight could do many of those things but I sincerely doubt they could run a marathon in say. . . 40 degrees Celsius (100 degrees Fahrenheit).

As long as they have less than 70% of their maximum load they can fast roll to better dodge attacks.

Clearly this means Full Plate spell failure should be 10% and max DEX bonus must be 6. Basically like +7 leather.
It was a fun year (I think). Bye.
